Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMany of these aspects are out of the hotel controls, but should be mentioned: On the weekend some of the locals are extremely noisy. The local animals enjoy making noise early morning too. This didn't ruin our stay or make a big impact, we were up early everyday, but just bring earplugs - it's not that bad but light sleepers note it (Out of hotel control) There is not many places to eat nearby in the evening (Again out of hotel control) Two suggestions I'd make: Breakfast is decent but could double the size and I'd still be hungry. My girlfriend doesn't eat much and even she was still hungry. It's more or less 1 hotdog, half a piece of bacon and 1 egg. At least you'd want to have 2 sausage, 2 bacon and 2 eggs for the even below average eater. Shower was a little weak water pressure wise.
The room was spotless. WiFi was great for work. Hotel has bikes, water etc everything you need. Close to the best attractions. Staff were great, helpful as can be. Locals are nice and friendly. Great gym nearby. Shops nearby, including great cake shops and day time eating.

United KingdomI had a pleasant stay at Zosimo's and was satisfied overall. However, I would have appreciated having a kitchen at the hotel, as it would make the stay even more convenient.
I'm satisfied with my stay at Zosimo's. It was a pleasant experience overall, and everything met my expectations. A great spot for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings!

NorwayYou are i small village, do not expect fancy restaurants, if that is important eat in one of the many nice restaurants midway from Suiqijor port. We had a reasonable priced cuisine type of fish menu in Infinity sands resort midway to the port. The mayamaya fish filet with curry, coco and pineapple sauce, and the crepe with mango, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was all heavenly in a serene quiet place overlooking the sea. One of the best sea food meals in my life.
New, clean, minimalistic, spacious room and bathroom with basics as coffeemaker , coffee, water, soap and small fridge. Very functional with full size queen bed, comfortable mattress, and very silent AC. Good basic breakfast. 8 minutes ride to the early waterfall.

United KingdomFantastic service. Really friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Clean facilities and toilets especially. Location in Lazi is very quiet compared to San Juan but is easy to get about as you can rent bikes at reception or they can arrange transport for you. Is about 50 mins from the port.

United KingdomLazi is a pretty small and sleepy village with not much going on - and it's a decent distance from San Juan/Siquijor town. Particularly in the evenings, a lot of the restaurants close around 6-7pm and there's not much in the way of bars either. Nothing against the hotel itself!
Very comfortable, very clean, great WiFi, lovely shower. Staff v helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend if you're staying in Lazi.

The room was big and spacious and clean! Staff were excellent and helped with the renting of bike which is a must (not really any places to eat nearby for dinner so will need to either travel elsewhere by bike/tuktuk)

United KingdomWould have loved a beach on the doorstep. 😁
Our room was so nice and very clean. The best we've had in the whole of the Philippines by far. They are always cleaning. Everywhere. Keeping the place in great shape. You get a nice breakfast next door, too. Lyn Dimagnaong, the lady at the front desk, reception. She is so nice and very helpful. Always smiling. She will tell you where to visit and how you can get there too. We rented a bike 🏍, to get around. I think this is a must. As there isn't much around this place to see without transport. Great place to stay. 🤩.

PhilippinesThe staff are really accommodating. They allow us to do an early check-in without a fee. They also introduced us to a trike driver/ tour guide for our stay in the island. The place is conveniently located at the back of Lazi Public Market and near Lazi Port. Their breakfast is superb. I will definitely stay back here if I come back to Siquijor.

IrelandThe hotel can't be blamed but there is a choir of roosters beside the hotel that woke us at 4am every morning. I think there was an alarm to wake them all and they continued on all morning. It was exhausting for us, but again, not the hotels issue. Noticed a few ants in the room and bathroom. Our room wasn't cleaned in the 5 nights we stayed there. We did request clean towels and it wasn't an issue.
Great location for a lot of the attractions. The room was very spacious and we had a good size balcony too. Double locks on the external doors which made us feel safe. The aircon was good. We were able to rent a bike from the hotel which was handy. Breakfast is in the building beside the inn and the staff there were brilliant, advised us on sights to see and whether it was a good day to snorkel based on the wind that morning!

United KingdomThe bed in the room we stayed in was pushed to one wall, due to the positioning of the plug socket (which would otherwise be directly behind someone’s head and not safe) it’s not ideal for a couple. The room is of a good size so the minimal cost of moving a plug socket would improve it immeasurably (and put them both sides whilst doing this). The bathroom is clean but small, if you are tall your face will be against the wall!! Lazi is about 45mins min away from the ferry port, be aware if you are staying just a couple of days.
Very clean, and comfortable budget stay. Really very helpful staff, sorted out transport for us and scooter hire.

United KingdomLazi is a friendly enough little town by the sea bit there’s no beaches or bars/restaurants worth mentioning. If it rains hard overnight they close all the waterfalls in the area. Be mindful if your reason for visiting includes this activity
Breakfast next door was free, but extremely simple It’s a good well managed and designed hotel, the front desk sells good value drinks, beers, water and other helpful items. The owner was away during our stay but we were still well looked after
