Actually so surprised how excellent this stay was, we were spoiled and we only realised how spoiled we are when we stayed at different accommodation afterwards! I think it was really good value for money, the evening buffets can seem expensive but the food was really good and varied and the staff were so attentive. Bed and room was perfect, nice and cold air conditioning, very clean. We had a lot of fun at the waterpark too even though we’re full grown adults! The only thing I would say is the check in and check out process could be better streamlined. Evening entertainment was good but could get a little loud when eating though it didn’t last for long.

The food for buffet is limited. The beach is nice though their have been rain showers in the afternoon during our stay so we cannot fully enjoy it.

We had a wonderful stay! They have complimentary activities too which kept us busy though the travel time from the resort is quite far. The staff are friendly. Nicolas from the waterpark is very funny and attentive while our coach captain, Ellerson, is very helpful during our trip from the resort going back to the airport. We really appreciate their help and warm welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Facilities were clean and catered for our needs. The location is a little remote from a lot of the Palawan activities but it had an excellent seafront location and great evening entertainment. The buffet food was amazing and varied. Singapore Airlines had managed to lose my bag on the connecting flight from Singapore to manilla but the staff were able to help recover it and get it delivered to me at the hotel - albeit after nearly 5 days of delays on the part of the airline who weren't responding to calls or messages.

Beach is not what I expected ,poor choices of food no vegetables apart from lettuce,but staff are all helpful & friendly, the only thing I noticed most are the interns ( OJT )are scatter in the reception area and it seems they dont have any idea what do,but all & all we enjoyed our stay in Astoria

Food was great, better than we got in El Nido or Coron. Right on the beach was good. We used the quad bikes but were only allowed on the beach in front of the hotel, so if doing quad biking, wait until the tide is out and you can go out much further! Very Expensive to do underground river tour with Astoria. Better with a tour group from Puerto Princessa for 1/2 the price. Waterpark was very basic, but ok for kids. We were done there in only 2 hours.

The beach is not as what I expected.

The place has amazing facilities, it has karaoke rooms, free bikes, free kayak, game rooms, board games and you even get to have a free access for 1 day at their water park plus plus their free day tours. Breakfast was really nice, many options to choose from and the foods served were all great, we also availed their dinner buffet and it was amazing with all the evening shows to entertain you while eating. Hotel room was huge with huge beds as well and it was well kept. Housekeeping staffs kept our room clean and tidy the whole time during our stay. ABOVE ALL, the staffs made everything extra special. They were all friendly, approachable and helpful. You get to be greeted everyday with genuine wide smiles from the reception, by the guards, maintenance team, f&b staffs and housekeepers. One of the best hotels I ever stayed with. Thank you for giving us a restful and enjoyable stay.

The serenity of the place. We liked how the staff welcomed us. Also we liked how they maintained the cleanliness of the place. They've provided us with citronella sprays for bugs and good thinking as well on surrounding the place with lemon grass. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Nothing, everything was perfect. If I had to choose one con, I’d say the beach, it’s not great. But the hotel is perfect.

The main restaurant/menu didn't have many vegan options (dairy free/egg free), that could improve considering the amount of guests that stay in the place.

The place is huge and offer a lot of activities, specially if you are travelling in group or with children. The room was very comfortable and modern. Everything was clean and tidy around the facilities. It was a good experience in Palawan.

Location is good for Puerto Princesa but not great for El nido. Everything else was fantastic.

We booked a room for three people with two beds but we were given one bed. We were traveling for over 23 hours to get there with a child and were very tired so we had no energy to go and ask for another room. One of us slept on a tiny sofa through the entire stay. Staff members at the spa are not very friendly or hospitable. Nothing but massage is offered. No facials. Booking a tour was a headache. I contacted the hotel via email a week prior arrival about tour availability and was told to wait to get to the hotel and book the tour once we are there. When we came in to book a tour they said they didn’t have enough people for the tour and that we need to come back every day to the office and check back. The location is not scenic.

Great food. Spacious room. Beautiful property. Fun aqua park . Sufficient gym. Perfect for families.
