Located in the most picturesque location overlooking the rice terraces from above, having a very welcoming host who also cooks well, I can only recommend this accommodation!

The staff Madin was very helpful and always one call away. They are pet friendly and we loved it because we have with us our 2 dogs. The place is clean and Sir Ramon was also very accommodating and interesting to chat with regarding the story of their place.

The rooms are quiet, but the village hosts many roosters that are a little bit noisy in the morning.

Batad View Inn is perfectly located in Batad and offers a unique view over the old village and rice terraces. The restaurant's terrace is the ideal place to eat, have a drink with family and friends and rest while enjoying the incredible view. Jeff and Ramon are wonderful hosts. We had an amazing time there !

I booked a room with a private bathroom for my group. The bathroom was a little tight and the entire floor gets wet when taking a shower, but all things considered, it's a luxury still worth booking. The room is upstairs (unlike the shared bathroom) and the steps are steep, so it's convenient having the private bathroom in the same floor as the sleeping quarters.

The view here is the best! It is such a treat to wake up in the morning to the sound of roosters and birds, a cool breeze, and a panoramic view of the historic Batad Rice Terraces right outside the window. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Mang Ramon from Ramon's Homestay next door offered to arrange a cultural performance by the village children at night so it made our stay even more immersed in local culture.

Superb experience. Thank you for the warm accommodation. Kuya Jeff and Kuya Ramon made the Batad experience even better. They shared so many stories about Ifugao; invited us to a bonfire accompanied with Grilled fish and rice wine. Kuya Jeff also allowed me to mingle with the residences. Perfect location with a breathtaking view over the rice terraces. Really kind and helpful stuff. It is super easy to organize tours with local guides once you are there. Bathrooms and rooms are basic but clean. The bed was comfy. The food they serve at the terrace is both cheap and super tasty! Thanks for a really great stay!!!

Irene and her team were the perfect welcoming staff team to an Inn… Especially after a 3 days trek and being exhausted. Joyful and generous people. The view is just spectacular- difficult to have a better experience than the Batad View Inn located above the green “Roman-theater-like” rice terraces and it’s village. Very intimate. The food was also very good and would recommend the rice cake for desert made by Irene :) Our room was a dream : two sided windows, palm trees, a whole view on the rice terraces and even more surprises. Thank you Irene for having us! I recommend 100%.

I had the private bathroom in our room which was convenient for our group. If you are expecting a bathroom with separate shower area, that won’t be here as everything gets wet, it just takes getting use to using. The sink was not working well, so I mostly used the shower area to wash up in. Also, if there were more hooks on the wall for hanging towels and clothing it would make it easier to use. Also a place to put some toiletries on like a hanging shower caddy to leave soap, body wash and hair products/toothbrush/toothpaste would help. The views and location of the hotel make it worth staying here, so this is just a small thing.

The location of the property was amazing and right in front of the beautiful Ifugao rice terraces that were magnificent to view when waking up and when eating and having a morning coffee. The setting is the perfect backdrop of the most amazing site to see! The restaurant had tasty food and a nice menu selection to choose from. I like the tab system they have to pay at the end of everything that was ordered, makes it easy. The staff was so friendly and attentive to whatever we needed. The owner makes you feel at home, and even met us prior to heading into Batad to help us get there and to get down with my elderly mom. She made sure we made it safely to the hotel when it was raining and that we had a good time. The local tour guides of the hotel also make a great experience to trek and see everything there is to see safely and at your own pace. I felt like my backpacking spirit came out again when staying here and getting to meet other like minded travellers. Staying here made it feel like it was part of a great adventure!

Lol. Too many stairs which, I admit, is needed to be able to get the best views. The steps were also "foreign" sized, so harder for regular Filipinas to climb.

The views, as expected, is amazing. What won me over, though, was the staff especially Ate Irene who were super helpful. They took into account our not so physically fit natures and supported us in our trek to and from the Inn. They also suggested appropriate activities for our fitness levels - additional van tours to other rice terraces in the area. And the food was delicious and filling after the trekking.

Their cat bit me within 5 minutes of me being there even though they said it was friendly. I wouldnt have let it sit on me if they said that it bites, instead they encouraged it sitting on me. I had to leave 1st thing in the morning to get a rabies shot, they did not compensate me in anyway just shrugged it off and said it was normal. They where nice people but i do not find this ok.

Be prepared for LOTS of steep steps. A little hard to find.

Stunning views! Nice outdoor patio to hang out in. Food was good and reasonably priced. One of the many basic places to stay in Batad. The rice terraces are spectacular - worth the effort.
