Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had a rodent visitor, though it never got into the room, but we could hear it scuttling up and down the walls over our heads during the nights. The room smelt of damp, but this was likely also due to the heavy raining.
Very relaxing atmosphere right by the sea. Unfortunately it was raining heavily throughout our time in Camiguin. But we didn't mind staying in at all as the property has a large green area with trees, and is right on the beach so perfect to relax. Maria and her family, who run the guesthouse, made our stay very pleasant. They were all very kind, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and functional, one of the few places with a hot water shower. In the room there were also toiletries and useful items like a kettle, cutlery, hangers, and a lamp

PhilippinesBreakfast was not part of the deal. Food and eating not allowed in rooms and during our stay we cannot buy food and snacks at the hotel store. No snacks were available to sell, the manager was nice enough to send a staff to a out side store to buy us a bottle of soda. He also helped order food to deliver to us.

SloveniaAs the owners said...dont leave your food in the house or nearby. Ants will find the way to get in. Some problems with electricity in the neiborhood, but that is island life.
Very nice Maria family, the owners. Arranged everything we asked for. Good fresh food and you can also order the food to bring you from local pizzeria. Nice rustic bamboo cottage with balcony over the sea. You can rent scooter for normal price. Good massage - room service from Ana. Near the airport in good location to drive around with scooter.

PhilippinesMaybe just that we had to request for extra items that weren’t prepared in advance. I booked a room good for 2 people and the complimentary items were only for one person.
The place where we stayed at was nice enough, good location and amenities. They were accommodating enough.

AustraliaGetting local transport can be a issue for some.
Sea is right in front of premises. Quiet and very lay back atmosphere. Alfred is a delightful person and happy to assist with any questions. Has scooters for rent at a great price which you will need if you don't have a source of transport. Food is great too. Delightful place if you just want to lay back and relax.m

United StatesThe couple that runs this place is so nice, I hate to find anything negative about the property, but there are several, easy fixes: more hooks would’ve been much appreciated to hang up our wet clothes. A new toilet seat would also be a nice touch. The one that’s in the room is barely hanging on with a zip tie, A small table next to the bed on each side would be nice. Also a table or some sort of surface area where You can put your suitcase instead of putting everything on the floor. even though the place is somewhat remote. It’s pretty noisy in the morning, so bring your earplugs.
The location was very convenient with access to lots of destinations. We wanted to visit. Alfred and Maria were super helpful and extremely niceWe had several amazing breakfasts overlooking the ocean. Fantastic mango juices each evening that we added our Tanguay rum to. A very nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Reasonably priced mopeds so that you can access everything you want to see. They dropped us off at the airport at the end of our weeklong stay. the setting is beautiful with lots of trees and a nice ocean view. If you walk out into the ocean, there’s plenty of starfish. .

United KingdomWe stayed at Borbons for 3 nights and had a lovely time. We were boundfully welcomed by their German shepherd and fully immersed in the more authentic camiguin experience. It was our first experience of life on the Philippine islands and although a shock to the system at first we felt a nice homely feeling whenever we returned to Borbons after a long day of exploring. The bed was very comfy and our little cocoon under the mosquito net became our little safe space as we adapted to island life. You fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the gecko noises in the night so you feel fully surrounded by nature. Bare in mind you will need to rent a scooter to get anywhere or hire tuk tuks as it's quite a long walk to town. We could rent a bike from the owners to explore the island who were on the whole helpful when we needed them. The place is right on the beach line and provided a great view at sunset. Waking up to a breakfast overlooking the sea as well was very nice. This place will always have a small space in our hearts forever.

GermanyLocated directly at the shore, it's very quiet (if you don't count the waves). They rent motorbikes, which is necessary on this island. The breakfast is huge and tasty, and the staff was very helpful. I hope they will reopen the restaurant (or at least as a bar), which would be great for socialising.
