Advertised courtesy bus but they dont have one & the company they call for you charges double the fair in a maxi style cab Advertise room service but no menu in rooms and you are not allowed to take one to your room. You have to sit downstairs and order & it is a 25% of your total order surcharge to get room service. What is the point of room service if you have to order at the restaurant?

Everything was great from front desk to security. The service was super. Food was excellent in the open covered dining area near the pool and ocean view, but there were a couple of flies that were going around our table.

The hotel made our shuttle arrangement to the airport at 3:40 AM and even prepared yummy sandwiches upon check out since we will miss the breakfast that was included in our room. They also provided cold and fresh cucumber juice when we checked in!

The location it isn’t the best location, also the beach is not as good as the per the pictures. Not a beach to swim. We purchased a 4hs tour and it was 2.5hs only

And their main issue for me is their beach. Or more like an absence of such, if you wouldn't call a beach one seaweed-infested peace of coast with dirty water and boats all around. It's so ridiculous, even men on boats suggest to bring you to a better beach for just $10 per pax. That said, tiny room improvements may include: a mini-bar and a liquid hand soap.

This is just an amazing resort with super-clean and comfy rooms and perfect service feauturing really nice pools and a roof-top bar with an impressive view. I would really love to return here once they fix their main issue.

Bed was rock hard, very dated. Ordered room service, 2 bowls of chips. Hot only one bowl by the time they brought our second bowl our first bowl was cold. The beach is not swimmable.

Pool was nice and so were the gardens.

Make sure you go at the right time because in October there was no white sand beach. There beach is located in a bad place to where the water look very dirty. Not able to get in for sure.

Could have had more menu choices. Low tide requires divers to walk quite far to boat, sometimes carrying heavy equipment. Sometimes the staff was a little too attentive. I notice this is common in other Philippines hotels. Just unusual for a Westener.

Clean, beautiful, calm and secure campus. Dive shop on campus. Large, clean pool. Plenty of friendly staff always around ready to assist.

The water pressure in the bathroom was too weak. It got me hard to take a shower.

Breakfast was so good. Every food we had on the rooftop bar was great. The price of food was kind of high but still worth paying and reasonable. The rooms and facilities were pretty clean even though they looked old. The staff I met were also very friendly and helpful.

I paid the rooms but funny enough i slept in a older bed & quite uncomfy, everyone slept like an Angel except me. The name white sands & resorts didn’t match the place. The pics on website was different than in real. The beach has full of seaweeds. There’s not even a place to swim due to boats ducking the area. Quite annoying. Probably for those who visited during high tide they’re lucky but evenso. The management should manage property especially on the beach side with more care & considering that foreigners or locals love to swim that’s what we cane here for. For the daily price they asked. At least the beach would be nice!

The staff are friendly & polite. Breakfast was good& lots of choices. The swimming pool is big enough & there’s a pool for kids. The penthouse bar with a live band was cozy & nice view. Foods are delicious in White Sands!

Hotel needs a little upgrading.

Food was delicious, pool was nice. View was lovely. Staff were very friendly. Para sailing was amazing.

We had dinner on the rooftop bar and the food was passable but not great

We had a family suite with a double and single bed in frost room and a separate bedroom with the most comfortable bed we had in our 3 week Philippines trip. Buffet breakfast was decent and had nice live music on in day and evening. 20 minutes from airport, decent pool but don’t expect too much from the beach.

I contacted the hotel to make a request about the room number and they told me to contact Booking.com so I did, but Booking.com stopped responding to me after a while. Ended up paying more than we had to if Booking.com did some work and responded to me. Do not use Booking.com to make a reservation for this hotel.

It was a pleasant stay, we where very thankfully upgraded when our toilet was defective so that was nice. Floor 8 restaurant and bar is nice and sensibly prices all in all a nice place worthy of the price.

When you took a shower water would run out on the floor so it was wet around the stool

Private beach is small and not so nice. They have birds in cages on the grounds, but the cages are far too small for those birds. Our shower fixture was broken and couldn't stand upright. Wifi was weak (even though that is pretty normal in the Philippines). The second pool wasn't open. A little bit too pricey for the off-season and what is offered.

The breakfast buffet offered a lot of options (filipino and continental style). The pool is big and well kept. Rooms offer enough space. Nice balcony. Nice staff. Close proximity to the surrounding Mactan area (e.g. good places for massages, if you want to pay a better price than at the hote itself).

The location was not very touristy, so we went to Bohol island for a night. Other tourist locations were hours drive from the hotel. The private beach was not very swim-able.

Great facilities, the pool was amazing and super warm! Breakfast was pretty good. Super friendly and helpful staff.
