Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Slovenia- Don’t expect much from breakfast. It’s not really the best. You can only choose between 4 types of eggs and ham/sausages + watermelon/banana. The coffee is instant, eventhough you want to order and pay for latte or iced coffee, they don’t have it. - Wifi is really bad. The one that is at the restaurant is okay, but in our bungalow it wasn’t good. Also we bought SMART Sim for data, but here it doesn’t work. - If you are staying in bungalow you should expect gegons (small lizard) and bugs to be in your room (since this is a bungalow and has holes). - Sea is only nice to look, but you can not really swim in it, because it’s not deep. Also there are a lot of small insects in the sea, so it’s not really pleasant.
- It’s right at the beach. Nomatter at which room you are staying it’s only few steps to sea. - The location is good - you have “rent a motorbike” right infront of resort, also laundary service is close. Restaurants, bars, markets … are close. - They have 2 nets where you can enjoy. - Pool for swimming is okay. - They have pool to play (billard) - Workers are very nice

CanadaLocation, room sizes, clean and staff was great located near lots of good restaurants. Glad to hear they are changing out the internet service with starlink as internet is flakey hopefully they address the wifi devices as well as they are flakey as well and barely reached either of our rooms. Glad they had a pool as swimming in the ocean is not pleasant as bottom is all very muddy due to no ocean currents to clean it up.

United StatesThe shower had low water pressure but it was just enough to wash my long hair. The beach out front is gorgeous to look at but even at high tide it was too shallow to swim. The bottom is squishy mud and then sea grass. We had fun exploring in it during low tide when the water would be way out (but wear water sandals in the sea grass section as there can be sea urchins as you get farther out). The breakfast was small but fine. Wi-fi was an issue and only worked sometimes. Not enough places to hang our towels.
We had a beachfront cabana hut and loved it. The view of the beach was gorgeous and the white sand was super soft. Sunset views were amazing. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids. The beds and pillows were comfy. There is a separate bedroom with A/C and a queen bed. There are 2 twin/single (but connected) beds in the main room with no A/C but there was a breeze and fans. There was plenty of space for all of our stuff. Bathroom was clean and hot water in shower worked great. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great! It was very quiet, chill, and peaceful hotel. We could easily walk to restaurants on the main road.

FinlandWifi wasn’t the best, breakfeast quality depended on the day, the toilet had a spring that caused the lid to lift at all times so it was a bit difficult to use. Water pressure wasn’t the best either and only had cold water. The gym was outdated and most of the equipment were rusty, unclean or didn’t work. Loud chicken from a nearby house made sleeping quite difficult without earplugs.
Location was right next to the beach and close to all stores and restaurants. The resort area was big and had lots of activity options: pool, pool table, ability to rent sup boards or kayaks, gym with dumbbells. Free water dispenser.

Poland- No aircondition only a ceiling fan but still it was doable. - Not the best water pressure. - Not the best WiFi in the rooms. - Thin walls, you could hear people from rooms besides you.
I had a great stay in Coral Cay Resort. The location is amazing, right next to the beach so you can watch sunsets just meters away from your room. Another highlight was a swimming pool where you can relax during the day or in the evening after sightseeing the island. They had also great price for happy hour drinks (100 pesos). Room was rather basic but clean. Breakfast was ok. It was rather quiet unless neighbours had a karaoke party. Scooter rental place across the street - very convenient. Cleaning on request. I would come back here!

GermanyAside from Miss Michelle, the front desk attendant, who was friendly and attentive. The staff at the restaurant were very unresponsive and not communicative. They took the orders and brought it but no extra smile or even a mention of specials. It's a shame for such a laid back resort. Also, we had a fan room and the screens have many holes which had some mosquitoes coming in. I asked for one of the mosquito coils ( like incense) and we put it out in front of on the patio, just in front of the windows.
The Location and the beautiful sunset. The rustic ambiance and vibe of the place.

PhilippinesHmm, not really something I disliked, but I wish their Wi-Fi was stronger. I had to go out of my room sometimes to get a connection, though there were also times when the Wi-Fi worked inside.
The resort is really nice and perfectly matches the vibe of Siquijor. The staff were very accommodating, and I appreciated the complimentary breakfast. I enjoyed eating it while taking in the serene beachfront view. If only the room had been available the next day, I would have definitely extended my stay!

Belgium- no lunch served, on arrival we found it a bit disappointing - at 8:30/9pm the restaurant closes and all staff leaves, leaving you on your own 😅
The pool ! We choose Coral Cay because of the pool and weren’t disappointed. Big and sunny and surrounded with trees. The good surprise was that it was only some meters away of the beach. Food was also good - and vegetarian friendly Drinking à cocktail while enjoying the sunset

AustraliaBreakfast was a bit limited, only a small selection of eggs and toast or rice, plus only instant coffee unless you paid more for brewed coffee. Got a bit monotonous after 5 days. Also pool table was under repair when we went, which would have been great entertainment in the evenings, so hopefully it will be fixed soon! Our sons had budget room at the back of the resort, which were quite hot and stuffy in spite of the ceiling fan, but that was greatly improved when we requested a standing fan for the room.
Great location right on the beach, friendly staff and clean rooms. The swimming pool was nice, and the restaurant/bar was open and airy. Our room was right on the beach front so had fabulous sunset views, and see breezes that kept us comfortable at night - no need for AC

United StatesFrom what I could tell there was not much air conditioning on the property. As a Westerner....I could have used it. Occasionally you had to wait for staff to appear in the restaurant. They don't have a lot of workers running the show here. Not a deal breaker.
Very cozy and inviting atmosphere. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced.

GermanySome members of the staff were not very helpful (most of them were though). There was very little water in the shower which was annoying. At our bungalow we did not have any Wifi, the connection in the restaurant area was also not very strong. The pool area has seen better days.
The best thing about Coral Cay is the location and its views. The beach right in front of the resort is beautiful with white sand and palm trees. The restaurant serves really good food, but only in the evening. There are many restaurants and bars close to the resort. We stayed in Bungalow 9 which is right at the beach. Their Mango Margarita :-)
