The space of the 6 bed room is a little bit small. The 12 bed room has a lot of space! I've slept in both rooms.

The staff are very kind and personal! They know everyones name and would love to have a drink with you or to play beerpong. The last night the staff joined us to party in town. Breakfast is good, beds are good and have curtain so you have enough privacy. The stuff put a lot of effort to help you with everything.

The shower in the rooftop mixed dorm where we stayed wasn't great. But the showers downstairs on the next floor were lovely and available to use.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Helped us organise Island hopping tours and motorcycle rental. The location was great, it was away from the main road so was a lot quieter as you couldn't hear the traffic. Great place to meet people and the bar rooftop area has a really nice chill vibe. Breakfast was also good.

The rooms were nice but quite small. The beds being comfy and the curtains making your area feel private made up for this though.

Overall a nice sociable place to stay. It’s in a good park of town, it’s central and everything is very close but it’s just down a side road. Staff super helpful, they’ll help you book tours and arrange transfers etc. Laid back rooftop bar is a nice addition. It closes relatively early to help reduce noise for all guests. Everything was very clean, despite a few toilets which were blocked with loo roll, but that I put down more to guest user error (do not flush the loo roll!) VERY comfortable beds. Great air con. Good size lockers with ability to lock.

all the staff were so helpful to us and made our stay amazing! especially Mau who gave us lots of suggestions and went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay! the hostel also had a lovely rooftop and was in a great location close to town.

The steep stair and the toilet early morning. Some occupants disregard the rule outright and unashamed, management should explicitly explain the rules upon acceptance to the accommodation.

Crisp and clean sheets, sturdy big beds, the rustic ambiance, the location, the simple industrial but homey building, the free unlimited daily serving of brewed coffee and fresh water in an open bar at the upper deck few feet away from my room!! :) most of all, the staff--all accommodating and ready to serve with smile :)

The beds are very noisy, in the 6 person dorm it did mean we had quite broken sleep although it might have also just been the people using them! Definitely better in the 12 person dorm, I think people were more considerate of others. Although it didn’t make our stay bad, there are pebbles in the sinks over the plug hole which means toothpaste collects around it and can’t go down - maybe something to change…Also nowhere to hang your things in the shower in the 12 person dorm. Again, not an actual issue for us but also an easy fix!

Good location about 8 minute walk to the centre of Coron town, but plenty of bars and cafes nearby too. Comfy beds with individual lights and curtains which was great. Staff are so friendly and helpful and helped us book a moped for the day. Lovely little terrace to sit on in the evening and watch the sun go down and coffee and water available all day. Lots of showers and toilets near the 6 bed dorms which means you never have to wait to use them which was great!

Lovely cosy spot with a great location and very helpful staff. They organised a great boat tour for us and were very kind to let us push it back by a day last minute because of the rain. They were friendly and accommodating and packed up a delicious breakfast for us when we were heading back to the airport on the shuttle bus they booked for us. In the shower- No place to hang or put things (towel, shampoo, etc.) which feels kinda basic :( Also, the pressure wasn’t so good When ordering breakfast it might take half an hour until they update you that what you ordered isn’t available and then you already have to leave for you planned activities for the day (so just take that into consideration) Would be way nicer if there’d been a soap dispenser in the bathroom The room on the third floor - was a bit challenging to climb after a long day The socket was weird and most types didn’t match

It takes so long for breakfast to be served. Most day tours leave at 8, but we can't order breakfast until 7 and it takes 30-minutes to 1 hour(1 hour!) to make. I ended up just eating elsewhere or doing without when I had a day trip.

I enjoyed my stay at Dayon. I actually stayed a few nights in the 6 bed room and then in the 2 bed bunk room. I really liked the 6 bed room. The beds are comfy, have the draw curtain for privacy and individual plugs and lights. Lockers are provided for security. Staff are helpful and friendly and were happy to organize the day tours and shuttles to the airport. Facilities are clean. Coffee and fresh water always available.
