it’s by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at during my travelers. the whole staff is super friendly and helpful, the place is clean and with great location. also, you’ll get to meet some amazing people whom choose to stay there as well. definitely will go back if I’m ever in Coron again.

Everything in this place was just perfect, the atmosphere makes you feel at home and all the staff was excellent with me, the food and coffee were delicious, definitely a place I will come back 10/10.

This was the first place I stayed at during my travels that had bed bugs and omg it’s horrible. Everything itches and I’ll have to throw away some of my luggage. I would already not stay again because I stayed at Bakawan before where I payed the sesame price but had free breakfast and a free towel but bed bugs are hell

Amazing hostel! Would have loved to stay there longer. I was in the upper dorm (I think 12 bed) and had a bed right next to the window with an amazing view. Free water refill. Everything was clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. I had to cancel a night because I managed to get a spot on the 5 day boat tour last minute and they were so nice to give me back the money. Rooftop bar is a big plus.

No soundproofing - could hear someone being sick in the toilets in the middle of the night down the corridor from the room. Not very good for meeting other people - no activities etc.

Most of the staff were friendly. Good bar with good prices of drinks and snacks. Good location to explore coron. Able to help with tours and ferry. Comfortable bed.

Cheap, clean and has a really lovely rooftop bar. We hung out there even while not staying at the hostel. Mao was incredibly resourceful and friendly. Thanks for hosting us!

I stayed there for 4 nights. It was actually a lot better than my expectations! There's a rooftop bar/breakfast area that you can sit and hang out with other people or just chill and relax, it's a plus! Staff - super friendly and helpful. They helped me with locations and things to do and they go extra miles to help me with that! 10/10 hospitality Room - very clean and good privacy (have dark curtains), not super spacious but for the price it's okay Bathroom - super clean, a lot more spacious than I thought it would be, there are so many showers too so I never had to wait! Location - walk for around 7 mins and you're in town, it's very quiet at night Transportation - can get a tricycle super easily, the hostel will help you with it!

It was my first trip to the southern portion of the Philippines yet it was an amazing one because of Dayon Hostel. The warmth welcoming of the staff made me feel that Im still in the province which I grew up. From the moment I checked in, til I bid a farewell to the place. They gave me a lot of reasons to come back to Coron. Coron has a fantastic scenery, and top of that, Dayon Hostel made my stay a memorable and unforgettable one. It was very clean, quiet and a very friendly stay in to be at Coron. They provided me not only a place to stay but a home to stay in Coron. Kudos to the team and more tourists to visit your place.

Everything! Every member of the staff as well as Mao were especially courteous and approachable. If you need help with anything at all, they got you. 👌🏼 I stayed there for an entire week; my room (12-bed at the rooftop) was so aesthetic and spacious, and has its own T&B. Did I mention it also has floor-to-ceiling glass walls? Its location is perfect for me, just a little walk from all the night life which makes for a quieter, more chill environment at night at the roof. The ACs and water heaters were working, there were bidets and toilet papers... basically, you won't have to worry about trivial things. From the reception, to the shared amenities, to the rooms and common area, the whole vibe and aesthetic of this hostel plus their hospitality is so ✨✨ Their breakfast items (available from 7-10AM) are incredible and they have unlimited brewed coffee as well. Their restaurant downstairs, Island Brasserie, serves great food and drinks! At night, you can hang out and socialize with the other guests at the rooftop and chill with beer, and they give out free shots. You can also unwind on the couch and read some of their books while the cats are sleeping beside you. Their signature cocktail, Adios, is a must-try for every guest. 😌 By the way, on my last night, they gave me a whole pitcher of the free shots lol, it was so good. Cheers you guys! 💙

My room was in unacceptable condition. Moldy pillows (all four were moldy), water dripping from the ceiling in the room and bathroom/shower area and cables hanging from the wall. The room seemed unfinished, nothing to put or hang you clothes or bags and it felt like sleeping in a basement. The room was super noisy (you hear everything from the reception and bathrooms). Almost no wifi or phone signal in the room. No kitchen at the moment as they renovate.

The only positive things were the friendly employees and that they refunded me the nights I cancelled. Left after one night only.

It's my first time in Coron and I'm glad I stayed in Dayon Hostel. Such a cool vibey place perfect for your much needed alone time. I love their rooftop where you can enjoy you unlimited coffee and tea. I really appreciate how near this place to clubs, restaurants and coffee shops. The best part is the staff! They are very friendly, kind, and always have a smile on their faces. Plus, they can also assist you on tours.
