Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing, really..
We highly recommend to stay at DosPlaya when you go to El Nido. It's the perfect place if you want your holiday to be quiet, serene, peaceful, away from the hustle & bustle of main El Nido town. Just know that it is an island, so you would need a boat & car/tuktuk to take you to main ElNido town should you decide to go around there too. We love evrything about the place. The family owners (Italian couple & son Mathew), with host dog Nica (very adorable) were the best host you can ever have. Very friendly, very accommodating including their Manager. They also serve the best foods. Truly is a paradise. Island living at its best. The best place to stay at Daracotan Island.

NorwayDefinitely the best place on the island and of the three resorts. It's definitely the calmest of them. Good wifi, good food. The food is usually around 7/8 dollars per portion. Thr bungalows should have at least one shelf for stuff put in. But overall much value for the money spent.

NetherlandsOne of the best stays I’ve ever had! The location was stunning, the people were amazing, and the accommodation was both down-to-earth and sustainable while still feeling luxurious. I thought this would be the perfect spot to propose to my girlfriend, and I was absolutely right. The staff helped me prepare and even set up a beautiful spot on the beach for the proposal. A perfect 10 out of 10 for us thank you so much!

The accommodation and location is absolutely stunning. The huts are set on a picturesque stretch of beach. Pure white sand and beautiful sea. The bungalows are clean and comfortable with plenty of room and electricity available. The meals are great with plenty of options and decent portion sizes too! The owners are lovely, and so accommodating. The service was 10/10. We looked across the island and visited a couple of accommodation places and we felt that Dosplaya was definitely the best one. We initially only booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3. If you’re looking to come to the island, you must stay here.

United StatesNothing I can think of.
The location was the best, once you arrive, you don’t want to leave. I was highly disappointed with El Nido until I get to Daracoton. William and Grace treat you like family coming home for a visit. It is heavenly. This is the best of El Nido for sure. The service was personal, not just as guests.

PortugalNothing. Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect at Dosplaya. Daracotan island is a piece of paradise on earth and Dosplaya fits nicely into it. Bungalows are very cozy and welcoming and staff helpfull and nice. It is a small location, in a small island, and, as such, has a bit of a familiar feeling into it. Very good.

NetherlandsWe had a fantastic two-day stay at this paradise. Beautiful almost private clean beaches and good food with view of the beach on both sides. The huts in which we stayed were beautiful and clean. Very relaxing and easygoing vibe. Also the service was great, the host went out of her way to return our forgotten items to el nido.

SerbiaThis was the best choice in our life! First of all, the owners and workers are good people! They all have good energy and they are happy! You can always see a smile in their faces 😃 There are 2 beach sides, one with sunrise and other with sunset. One is shallow, you have to walk to the depths long. The other has a gradual entrance to water and depth. Cottage was clean and cozy, with a lot of space inside. Bed was comfortable and we had baldachin. The toilets are shared and they were always clean and fresh. The food is DELICIOUS! Always fresh! Specially the fish and the fruits. There is always a free drinking water, coffee and tea.

NetherlandsDuring my stay I heard other people liking the food, but for us it was the worst food we had in the philippines. Breakfast was not special (banana pancakes with barely any banana, eggs without any taste and extremely sweet kind of lemonade). And the italian pastas we were longing for were barely flavorful (for example pasta with only half cooked onion). It felt they were a bit stingy with everything overall. Another example, we were told they ran out of mango’s, but apparently for a long time already and weren’t planning on replacing them. It felt like the owner didn’t really care and that’s just a pity because it has all the potential. Also it apparently had so little rain that the showers were with very little water and it smells sulfur like (bad eggs) which wasn’t really nice to shower in.
Lovely little cabins on the nicest beach (really the best on the island) and Grace welcomed us very friendly. They kept the beach clean and had all nice seatings/hammocs which were very lovely.

Our stay at Dos Playa Darocoton was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the warm and attentive staff. The location is simply paradise – tucked away on a peaceful island with stunning beachfront views and crystal-clear waters. The bungalows were beautifully designed, spacious, and very clean, offering the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast right by the beach was such a dream. The food was delicious, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients – especially the seafood! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were always taken care of and gave great recommendations for activities and boat trips around the area. If you're looking for a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path getaway with amazing service and natural beauty, this place is an absolute gem. We can't wait to come back!

United KingdomThe showers and taps were salt water which meant you couldn't rinse off properly. They cater to vegans but with only one option per meal time and it's very basic only ever rice/pasta/toast and veggies and no protein, fine for a couple of days. There wasn't much of an atmosphere, everyone just kept to themselves which be what you're after. The dining area was just floodlight, some softer lighting would've been nice. There's few places to chill that's comfortable and out of the sun. When we arrived at the port it wasn't very clear how to get the boat to the island. I just had to keep asking around and think one of the other camps was just nice enough to give us a lift on their boat. A representative from this camp to meet us would've been nice.
The cabins are absolutely fantastic, well built, spacious and practical. The couple that run it are so welcoming and helpful. You have access to two beaches which are practically private. There were nice touches such as a bucket to wash your sandy feet before entering your cabin. It was really windy during our stay so we were given another top sheet to keep the chill off. Excellent value for money.
