The staff were wonderful! Everyone was so kind and helped me organise a lot of stuff. I requested to check jn earlier as I wanted to go to Cebu the night before our flight, and they even issued me the refund for checking in earlier - absolutely amazing customer service! I couldn't find a better place in Moalboal than DHecko Hotel P.s. lactation was awesome! Right next to the sardine run and turtle watch area. Alright, the hotel wasn't top class with modernity but for the price what do you expect, it was very clean though.

Fantastic place. Big room, very clean and super helpful staff. Location is outstanding - barely 30meters from the waterfront which has access to the reef wall for the sardine run and turtles. Happy would stay again.

Excellent service from the staff. Very convenient because it's near Panagsama rd where the restos are. Clean room and definitely worth the price. Will book again for sure.

Had many trouble with the water: suddenly you could remain without water in the middle of a shower, and with no warning at all. Also the shower head was defective (see photo).

Very good position: just 1 minute from the beach. The staff was good.

No internet access (there was an issue that should be fixed in a day, but nothing happened) Water issues. There was no water (twice) in a bathroom inside the room and it was needed to fix a pump twice after the call to admin

We didnt expect a no shoe policy at the entrance of the hotel. It was very noisy and the rooms are very close to the reception with no door in between the corridor and the main desk.

Safe wasn't working so we couldn't lock away our valuables.

The quality was quite bad compared to other hotels we stayed at in the area for similar prices. Towels were stained, the shower gel provided was a bar of skin whitening soap and the manager had a rule we must take off our shoes at the entrance to keep the hotel clean but the floors left our socks and feet black so we would have preferred to keep shoes on. The room also smelt damp as we think there was a problem with the AC. We reported this but were told it was fine. The bed only had one pillow each for my partner and I and these were very bad quality/flat.

The hotel is completely spotless all the time. Mark and Lotzel (Louchi) are always at hand and nothing is too much trouble for them. D'Geko is the ONLY place to stay in Moalboal. X

air con didn’t work, shower didn’t initially have hot water, ants in the room and spider webs in the bathroom, shower door was missing to begin with too until we changed room and mould in the bathroom too.

staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating, location was perfect for the beach and transfer service to airport was reasonable.
