There is currently construction going on that started around 7am which wasn’t ideal. We also couldn’t check in until 2pm even though the rooms were ready / no one was in cleaning them (we were sat there waiting from just before 1 and no one went in or out of our room)!

Lovely views of the water from the hotel / restaurant. Food was good, handy having the restaurant as not lots of food options near by. It’s also close to the pier which was handy for us! Rooms are basic but clean and fine for a night or two!

I was in ground floor and I had direct lights from the lobby to my bed so I couldn't sleep at all. Friends in first floor didn't have issue with it since lights are only in ground floor. Ground floor AC in the room pointing directly to the bed from 0.5m which I had to cover somehow that ain't good.

Nothing to say to be honest. The beach next to the hotel was nice.

There’s no personal refrigerator available in the room and there are spider webs that are very visible. Also, no bidet where we stayed.

The room is very spacious where we can walk freely even having the luggages on the floor.

Dog barking which you cannot do much about it.

Nice and friendly staff. Beach front with ocean view. In the centre of Olson, walking distance to the ferry. Apart from some dog barking, the place was quiet.

The shower was connected to the toilet, so when showering, everything gets wet.

Only stayed overnight for a quick layover before our morning tour to see the whale sharks, but the property in front of the sea. It was absolutely amazing and the restaurant was beautiful. Complementary to the chef and the staff for being so accommodating. Wished we stayed longer and maybe next time we will base ourselves in GT sea side inn. Even went for a night swim. Beautiful!

Asked 3 times for the booking of the breakfast in the morning as we had a tour start at 6am from the hotel and was told to not worry ma’am breakfast will be served from 5.30am. At 5.55 there still was no-one to cook the breakfast! Then when we asked we were told that at least half an hour would be needed. At the end we got two mangos, some apple and two bananas for four. Otherwise very good stay.

Only frustrating thing about this place was the noise. Dogs were barking and howling all night long (this is unfortunately out of their control, just something to be aware of before booking).

The aircon worked but not so well. Options for food were a bit limited. The place is not as new as the photos made it look, but it was ok.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful to organise the tours, which can only be booked in the hotels, unlike other larger cities.
