Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mot overly central but honestly not bad and still walking distance to most things Wifi could be stronger but not bad for philippines
The lady running it was the best and she made our stay here so much better. We booked everything here and she was super helpful and went above and beyond like helped with our ferries booked our scooter and helped us when it got a flat tire Super clean and comfortable rooms Clean newish bathroom Extended our stay an extra day Free coffee and water was a nice touch too

Very very friendly staff, I had a 2am ferry and they let me hang at the hostel, after I’d checked out, use the facilities and shower at night. Then organised a tuk tuk for me at 4am when my ferry was delayed. They shared dinners with us and generally helpful at all times. beds were comfy and cleaned everyday.

Very clean, cozy hostel with a nice place to sit outside and chill for a bit. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Also very good working WiFi. Best WiFi we had in the Phillippines for so far!

We just loved this hostel! We had a private room with bath and AC. Everything was very clean. The location is also perfect - you are only 5 minutes away from the best restaurants and at the same time away from the noisy crowds! Also special thanks to the lady from the reception who organised everything for us and made it all very simple ( tours, airport transfer, laundry).

The only complaint would be that there was some apparent sewage smell that would come from the bathroom drain lines while we were gone. We had to keep the bathroom door closed while we were using the room.
Happy Camper was a nice and quiet stay in Coron. A simple private room with a comfortable bed and helpful staff.

Sometimes the bathroom had a bit of a bad smell and the air con was suuuuuuuupeer loud.
The women working at the place were really kind and sweet. The location was also perfect!

Unfortunately we had ants on our bed 2 nights in a row and had to change sheets and spray the room with insect killer. I think it would be nice if there was more shared storage for food in the kitchen and a fridge too.

The reception was very helpful for the tour reservations and suggestions for restaurant and the activities. Also there were cute cats around the structure... But as in many places in Philippines the air conditioning was really loud and difficult to sleep with its noise...

Shitty bed. The mattress is not even 10 cm and we both broke our vacks from it. Also tge AC is SO LOUD and makes a creaking sound that makes it impossivle to fall asleep. The walls are also paper thin so you hear anything the next room. We basically paid money to destroy our backs :(

Trips overpriced and staff uninformed us wrongly what was included.. Always negotiate on the set price ! Ultimate island tour a con. Group b joined our whole tour and paid less. Staff said they didn't and basically called me a liar when I said they did. Laundry expensive. Lots of mosquitoes outside in kitchen and accommodation area.
Private room was clean. Fan and ac Location good Communal outside kitchen area Bread and peanut butter available in the morning. Fridgetij use with a toaster and hob. Free water and coffee.

Very small room, aircon was very noisy. Little space to dry wet clothes. Not a social hostel.
Private room to a good price. Location in walking distance to the busy city center. Staff was welcoming. Free drinking water.

The property was quite run down. I understand it’s a hostel but we had a private room and weren’t even given hand soap. The sheets didn’t seem 100% clean and we had some sort of gecko or frog living in the wall of the bathroom that made very loud noises at night.
The staff were lovely! They help organise all yours etc. you want to do. And the location is good, a few mins walk from the Main Street of bars and restaurants

No wifi in the dorm - just in the common area downstairs. The roosters (a lot of them) are next door so they make noise ALL day and night long. Impossible to sleep without earplugs. Very low water pressure in the shower. No soap provided for washing hands.
Fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water available, comfy beds, clean bathroom cleaned every day, helpful staff, rentals available, central location, mosquito nets provided in the dorm. Lockers and tables next to bed.

just writting here because people read. not related to the hotel. from the port its just a 1km walk. it should cost 40Pesos however the tuks charge 200P, if you can, just walk to teach those tuks a lesson
everything was good, except that there was no water for many hours during 2 days of my stay the rate would be like a 9 if it wasnt by the water problem. andok restaurant near the hotel is the only cheap and good

Not a social hostel at all. We only saw about 4 other people the whole time we stayed there. There was also very loud music playing from somewhere nearby. One night it went on until about 3am and was so loud that I could still hear it through earplugs. The location is also a bit far from the restaurants and bars.
The private room had both aircon and a fan which was great. The room was also fairly clean.
