It was an old hotel but was properly maintained; it was kept clean and tidy. I liked it that the property is always sanitized, you wouldn’t smell any stinky odor. The staff, from the security guard and the reception and the housekeeping were all very polite and accommodating, apart from the fact that they were all well groomed. It’s a plus point that there is a 24 hour convenience store nearby.

Booked a double but got a Twin room. Mattresses was springy so woke up a few times and the aircon unit is old and loud and doesn't matter what temperature you put it on seemed to be the same

Staff are very helpful and friendly from reception to aurora cafe. Cleaning is spot on and amenities are complete. I recommend this place to anyone visiting manila and will book to stay here again.

The wifi connection and the lighting I think needs to improve. Not sure if it's just us or because we were in the 5th floor but we experienced some intermittent slowness of internet. But the we were assisted right away with their staffs and get restarted with the connection.The lighting. Maybe can improve to add some lightings.m

We enjoyed our stay front desk was friendly and helpful, the Housekeeper who cleaned our room did an awesome job, very neat and clean. The Girls serving our breakfast were awesome good selection of breakfast, everywhere you walk in and out the Hotel was clean, many restaurants in walking distance, we stayed twice and will stay there again.

Nothing at all. It was perfect as it is.

Hotel standards was parallel to a 5 star. As being a hotelier myself, I was trying to look for any faults or shortcomings but I was truly blown away of the consistency of the staff and the whole shebang. Truly a remarkable stay without breaking a bank.

The location is very nice since it is just within Poblacion. Aa a commuter, the location is great and near public transportation. The complimentary breakfast is great, the staffs are accommodating and the room (esp. the bathroom) is excellent.

This was my second stay there, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The staff was very helpful and friendly and very professional! The staff does a wonderful job of maintaining the rooms and the property I love the 1940s feel. The small Cafe restaurant serves very good food with enough variety to choose from that anybody could find something to enjoy and if you really have to have your coffee I suggest you get the French press style that they serve

During my visit the door was having an issue the access card was unable to open the door, every time i wanted to go into my room I had to call the housekeeping to help open it
