It was my first time staying over in Makati. I am glad the hotel was as good as it looked in the images. I had a great view of the cityscape from my room. The staff were kind and helpful.

Check in and out was slow (but that's common in the Philippines). Food at the restaurants and bars was a bit substandard for the price in my opinion. Pool was way too cold. Lifts were slow and not very responsive. Process to have a facial at the spa was ridiculous: had to go to 3 different floors to complete process and had to get changed in the toilet. Not a lux feel, although facial and massage itself was great.

Great location but still a grab ride to most other areas (but that's just Manila - huge). Big, clean and modern rooms.

They didn’t offer wine by the glass seemed odd but probably normal feel this is an option to add to menu.

It was clean and safe. Staff where polite and facilities were good. I was a little worried about reviews I had read but everything was super clear and no extra sales were pushed on us. The bond is common in a lot of places in Asia and they are clear about it and payment options. Be careful of your linen also try rinsing the towels if any make up stains. Also the rooftop has such a nice view especially at night time. Yes it is noisy on the pool level but you’re also on Manila City.

the spa was kind of underwhelming. I think I expected something nicer and that it was further up in the hotel. the view was not nice.

food was terrible,sat t.v. was half scrambled when i asked they just ignored me ,got great drip coffee in the room for the first 2 days after that you had to pay for it ???? it was like you were penalized for staying longer.be prepared for extra charges i spilt 2 drops of coffee on my bed sheet and they charged me 1600 pesos . they hold a 10000 peso deposit for a month

Although the external pool area is very beautifull, this one is not very relaxing to swim and make a sunbath as it is on the second floor, so very noisy and All the area is on the North so no sun during the day….. I would recommande to extend the small rooftop where is the glamptent to mâle a confortable sunbad area. The breakfast is very « Asiatic focus » and poor in european sweetes, cheese, charcuterie and fruits. No real freshjuice…. No yogourt

The flexibilité of the staff and the hôtel in general. They have me an amazing room with a beautfiull view. The hôtel is perfectly situated. Close from the airport by car and in the heart of the vibrant Life and nightlife of Makati. The spa is very Nice and confortable with correct prices and very Good prestations. The rooftop is amazing

Reception staff were super friendly at check in, when they were successfully selling me upgrades…but a bit frosty when I had to return the next day to ask a question about the Wifi. It was also a bit cold, A/C kept turning on overnight.

Great pillows, comfy bed! Reasonably priced promo upgrade to a room with a bath! All the facilities - rooftop bar, a couple of restaurants, Onsen Spa, funky pool. And the best - promo with booking.com - free late checkout of 4pm (instead of midday)!

Common areas needs a but of update. For example the sauna shower was broken and leaking.

Unfortunately the service wasn't quite up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. The check-in process wasn't very efficient and they forgot to give us one of our bags when we collected our luggage at reception. Our first experience at the Common Good Express Restaurant was also quite poor with very limited seats available and there were no tables for just 2 people therefore you're expected to sit with other people. They also forgot one of our orders which added to what was already a long wait for the first meal to come out. We also booked the Swept Away package at the I'M Onsen Spa which unfortunately was not an entirely seamless experience either. There was poor communication when I made the booking. The information provided to us when we arrived for our booking was not clear which created some confusion for us, There were also delays in our treatment start time.

The room and the hotel amenities were absolutely beautiful. Dinner and breakfast buffets were quite enjoyable.

It took over 30 minutes to check in - they could have benefitted from more staff at check in time to help out. Although we were high up it was still noisy as we could hear the beeping of the cars on the road below.

Requested for plates and utensils but it took a long time to arrive. Had to call twice. And someone came almost 2 hours after to deliver plates.

The room had a damp smell, in the bathroom some mould was visible. Maybe a little bit pricey for what you get.

The staff was lovely, the gym was decent and facilities looked good, cleaners did a good job.

Lots of “give us a 5 star review and get some free stuff “! Which in a 5 star hotel really cheapens the vibe. WiFi was unusable it was so slow. Pool Bar is a bit hit and miss for what’s available depending on if they feel like pouring you a beer or not which was funny A bit of an untrustworthy vibe if you ask them to charge something to the room which was also odd.

Clean, central. Nice spa and facilities. The chilled pool is refreshing and even better than it looks in the pictures. Breakfast is ok for Philippines but still not 5 star quality. Rooftop bar is pretty cool. Dwight at reception was a fantastic guy to deal with and very friendly !

Not much to do in the area. Had to but down a cash security deposit so when checking out give yourself 25 minutes for them to check the room and give you the money back. Jacuzzi was blocked off while I was there so I couldn’t use it. The roof top bar looked cool but they didn’t have some of the decor lights on.

Check in was easy. The rooms are very nice. Floor to ceiling windows around the room and bathroom. Had all the amenities you would want in a room including a mini fridge. The pool was really nice with a clear kayak and plenty of seating. Most of the time I was the only one lounging in the cool circular rainbow seating spaces. The pool even has a partially clear bottom to look straight down to the curb area. The stay had a complimentary dessert and 10 minute massage coupons. I got my free dessert but didn’t do the massage. Plenty to eat in the area. 30 minutes from the airport. Staff were very friendly. The rooms also have a “do not disturb” and “need house cleaning” buttons that you can illuminate to be seen outside your room. This hotel is great if you just want to enjoy and stay at the hotel the whole time.

Filipino breakfast variety at buffet is a little lacking. Buffet is a bit pricey for what it is. All food was good though.

Staff very accommodating, allowed me to do a late check out to facilitate transferring to another room in a separate booking, staff greets guests consistently, and staff is very professional.

1. Upon check in they ask for a deposit which can be paid in cash or by credit card… if you pay by credit card they say it might take up to five weeks to return the deposit… this doesn’t make sense… they can simply hold a deposit and release it immediately 2. The breakfast is pretty basic, best to go early as they don’t restock … plus found a hair in the fried egg 3. They tried to charge me for 3 minor blood spots on the pillow case … they were 1-2mm in size… I refused and they waived the charge… I would understand a charge for large spots but this was a bit excessive 4. This hotel is not guest friendly … in the evening they try to impose a surcharge for bringing a female guest… so it’s not an ideal place for guys staying in the area for a bit of fun… City Garden hotels across the road don’t impose any surcharge…
