Not a negative for us as the location suited us perfectly but it’s about 2.5 hours from the airport.

It felt like home, the property was quiet, well looked after and we were treated like family. The staff were exceptional and referred to us by name. Thank you J&R and staff.

If you are old or struggle with mobility probably not for you as it is built in a hill/cliff. Gives dramatic views, and while I saw the children running in the steps in no time, I think I would avoid if I was old and worried about the steps…

Absolutely fantastic…..This is like no where I stayed during my 3 months in PH. - run by a German chap and his wife and it shows. - great design everywhere - huge rooms - very clean, high standard - excellent food - views to die for - beach is amazing - staff and very very good - laundry my shirt very quickly - cocktails were better than London/new York. I stayed at at more than 20 places in the PH when visiting. This place was hands down the best. Would recommend this without hesitation. Better than many global hotel chains.

We absolutely adored our stay! The family room was spacious and cozy, with nice view. The terrace was perfect for enjoying morning coffee while soaking in the serene atmosphere. Jilo and Ralf have a great place. Perfect location on the beach. Nice swimming pool. They have a really nice Trident boat. We went 2 separate days snorkeling on that boat. The reef and turtle area in Anda is world class. They offer a great trip. The resort is spotless, quiet, and just a nice energy. The room is great. Has all the right components. Hot shower, cold AC, in room internet, nice comfortable king size bed, spacious outside deck, free parking. The staff is wonderful. Each person is very nice. The owners are very nice. The food is good here. Both dinner and breakfast are great. Many selections. At night we had German food. We don't get that in the States. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you.

Maybe they cpould extend the dinner serving at bit longer than 1930, but we never had any issue with that to be honest, since we had both our daughter and grandparenst with us.

The standard of the overall service was exceptional! The meny is for sure big enough and food was delicious and they served all 5 of us with different dishes all at same time which is not very usual in Philippines! Impressing that they also giving us a welcome drink at arrival. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Nice breakfast alternatives as well.

Fabulous resort. Super helpful lovely staff. Special thanks to Daphne for helping me with transport and all my queries. Set right on a beautiful stretch of powder white sandy beach great to walk along especially when the tide was out. Great breakfasts and dinners. Immaculate rooms and grounds. A short ride into Anda town which the resort can arrange or hire a motorbike.

Everything - we just loved our stay there, and Ralf has been very supportive in providing information. They have a really good kitchen and a beautiful view from the terrace on the sea. It is quiet and intimate, and we will definitely come back. Many thanks also to Daphne and the great service she provided. We decided to go diving with the French dive shop in the hotel next door - out of convenience and only 5 minutes by the beach - and Hubert provides reasonable pricing!

everything about the place was spotless its set overlooking the white beach in immaculate gardens with a lovely sounding waterfall with well stocked fish ponds. Jello and Ralf cant help enough with everything i needed and as for the staff, fantastic i would join them on saturday for a great night out in town. cant praise J&R enough. Thanks to all the staff for everything especially ......... 😘

the location and establishment were fantastic, absolutely beautiful!. Jilo & Ralph are a lovely couple, full of helpful advise and always up for a conversation if one desires. the staff were fantastic and catered to every whim, a shout out to Daphnie for her attendance to the family and I. the in-house food was delicious, best pork I had during my time on Bohol!.

The beach isn’t wonderful for swimming.

We liked clean and well-maintained care for rooms, grounds and pool. Very good German food. Friendly owners. Flexible around last minute booking. They were very good at tolerating our naughty 2,5 year old son. Overall, very lovely stay!

We are a South Indian family and found to the food in Philippines to be not to our taste except in J&R. Even my 3 year old kid enjoyed the food and being fed watching the waves. The food was excellent and the beach was gorgeous. Only had the opportunity to stay for 1 day, but I wish we had stayed longer. My wife had a massage and pedicure which she was very happy about.

Ralph and Jilo were exceptional hosts, helping us with anything we needed and more. The location has the best views over the water, set in a serene garden. We had many wonderful meals in the dining area overlooking the water, watching the locals fish at night. t was such a peaceful place that allows you to recharge your body and soul. We came mainly for diving (which was awesome), however this residence was beautiful to come back to and relax. You even have a view from in the pool overlooking the sea with a drink in hand! You can walk along the beautiful beach to town, 30 mins away, but why would you leave here when it has everything. We highly recommend J and R. Thank you for having us.

The fact that we can't stay here for ever!!!

This has been the most genuinely surprising, relaxing, amazing, gorgeous place we have ever stayed at. There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this place and how it just makes you feel. Everything is just so well thought of and we'll maintained. The staff is so amazing and considerate, Michael the bar tender is an awesome person, they're all just really really great!! Ralph and Jilo are the most honest, kindest, funniest and entertaining hosts we've met during our travels, we loved them and everyone so much we extended another 2 days and wish we could just extend indefinitely lol. This is definitely our go to destination from now on every year we come to Bohol, it literally checked every check box we had as travelers. if you come to Anda and do not stay here, you're missing out on a very wonderful and truly outstanding (in every sense of the word) experience.
