Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThe service at the sky lounge could improve a little. One night we waited 45 minutes to be served our cocktails and had to remind the waitress 3 times.
We absolutely loved our stay! The resort is a perfect location and very relaxing! Very friendly staff! The view and the pool is literally paradise! Love the live music and vibe at the sky lounge and pool.

GermanyWe booked 5 rooms and the more expensive one with partial sea view turned out to be the one with more issues: tablet wasn't working and there was no hair dryer. Most of the times, the lift didn't smell good. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.
The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and there were changes daily. Staff accommodated my request for a surprise birthday for my daughter with a free slice of cake and birthday song. The infinite pool, unlimited soft ice cream and pop corn added to the joy of the young one sin our group, in addition to the children's playground on the 6th floor.

FranceNot really soundproof and only one card given per room which complicates a little bit your entry in your stay if you’re two or more
Very welcoming staff and very helpful as soon as you ask! A little bit under what we expected in term of general aspect but for El Nido apparently it seems kinda really good. The pool view is amazing. I recommend

SpainWhilst the breakfast was good, freshly cooked egg station, could have had a little more choice & more fruit ( plz find more appealing way to serve the butter! :) The pool restaurant however was a little lacking, we only ate there once because the fish ( horribly underdone with almost white pale batter) and brown over done chips! And the Mai Thai cocktail dont bother! It's a pity because could be so much better, tho I am sure others had better experiences! It would have been nice for a couple of chairs on the balcony to sit outside! Overall it wouldn't put us off returning!
Very modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Our room which was advertised as "no view" was actually great with a quiet relaxing outlook over jungle trees and foliage, and was closer to pool deck (722) a slice of sea view and saw an amazing sunset from the balcony!! Despite the convenient proximity to the pool deck / restaurant we weren't bothered by noise, on the live music evenings all was quiet just after 10pm. Lovely views from pool area. Nice touch with the free mini ice cream and popcorn . Reception organised great shared boat trip for us. 10 mins I to El Nido town which suited us perfectly. Vanilla beach also only few mins away by trike which was a lovely beach to spend time at, highly recommended 👌

EgyptWe checked in a deluxe room with partial sea view that was overlooking a construction sight and you barely see any view but workers could see the room from the outside so we had to leave the curtains closed all the time. The staff responsiveness was very slow. Room was not cleaned although we left the room for 8 hours and left the sign make my room. There was an issue with the light. However, after all these issues they gave us an upgrade to the room so they made it up somehow.
Location is really nice. Room size is good and it is high tech. Tye infinity pool is very nice and the view is great. Food and drinks are also very good.

AustraliaWe were there for NYE and the fireworks were just spectacular. We sat in the pool area and were told at 11pm that the bar was closed, and that the pool itself closed at 10pm. This was very disappointing as one of the reasons we booked was to be there for NYs. Also that NYE party was advertised as running until 1am. The cleanliness of the public areas left much to be desired and I witnessed another guest asking for the soap to be refilled in the lobby toilets. This was disappointing given the high rates of gastro illness in the area. Also both of my children became very unwell with a gastro illness while staying and there were very limited medical services, and no apparent relationship with the hotel and local medical assistance. This is something to be aware of. The floors and glass surfaces, especially in the pool restaurant area, were at times quite dirty and the ground near the walls throughout the hotel was grey with dirt. There was a dead gecko outside our room for three days. The whole area was permeated by an awful sewage smell. The infrastructure of the local area is clearly not up to the numbers of people visiting. This is not the fault of the hotel, and the smell cannot be detected in most areas of the hotel.
Getting straight to it- the selling point of this hotel is the infinity pool and views. Also, the rooms themselves are comfortable, clean and air conditioned, which is so important in El Nido. The tech in the room is ambitious with an iPad to control things like curtains and lights. This was a bit gimmicky to be honest, and the quality of phone calls was poor meaning that we opted to attend the concierge desk rather than use the calling function. Neither person on the call could understand what was being said. This was probably the best breakfast buffet we had in the Philippines. The staff are doing their absolute best, they are clearly very hardworking and friendly. However they seemed overwhelmed with peak-season demand.

United KingdomThe property is not as what I expected it to be. I was expecting a highly rated 4* hotel from all the reviews but it’s more of a 2-3*. The initial room we got given is smelly so they changed it to another room. The replacement room we got given is better but you can tell that things such as the door handles, taps on the sink, shower etc are rusty - i think it needs a good renovation. The tub, towels and sheets are stained. The bathrobes are ripped. Lastly, the curtains are broken!
The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop infinity pool is also great!
