Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I paid additional fee for breakfast but i think its to expensive for very little choice of menu. The wifi is barely accessible in the rooms. The staff from both front desk and food service seems to need training in guest services or filipino brand of service excellence. They don't even know how to smile and be accommodating to guests.

Breakfast buffet don’t have much of a selection, that’s the only thing we could fault.
Lovely property, quiet and well laid out. Couldn’t hear Commonwealth from the room. Bed and sheets were super comfy.

Breakfast could be more special as you need a good start to the day. (We're regulars so we've learnt to make it up by just ordering 'a la carte'.) When making hotel bookings, breakfast is a game changer for me. In the end I want to feel I got value for money.
courteous friendly staff, always eager to serve, checking-in is never rigorous that you feel you're home and can immediately rest and relax from a long weary trip

They have very small selection for food at breakfast on the first day there we had no hot water and we got on the elevator to go to the pool. Said the pool is on the sixth floor you get off then you have to walk up another floor on steps to get to the pool, and there was no shallow end for the pool for seniors or children to walk into the pool.

1. Very Noisy hotel room cleaners. Keeps on chatting with loud voices while cleaning the hallway and adjacent rooms. Woke me up 2x. Nag haharutan while cleaning ang ingay dahil nag echo sa hallway 2. Chef took looooong time to prep simple dinner meal.

Amenities were not replenished regularly. There are no hand towels nor facial tissues available at the room. The pitcher and glasses, despite being used daily, were not washed despite the sign asking for the room to be cleaned daily. The safe is not working, always indicates "Error" after following the directions. It's not my first time using an Abloy safe so it's obvious that the lock was not working despite resetting the same. The sofa/sitting area beside the window was dusty when I checked in, and was never cleaned the whole week I was there.
Breakfast was nice. Although there is no bacon. Which is sad.

the room lack hooks for hanging dresses/shirts- in other words no cabinets (hooks were in the comfort room); I have expressed that we were checking out early- the staff should have immediately informed us that the restaurant closes at 8 pm to receive take out orders- which we presumed there were to be choices- (it turned out just for sandwiches TSK it would have been then a simple task)

At least give us a discount for the 2 nights that we were inconvenienced. I will still check in there because of the location, though.
On our 1st night, July 3. There was a power interruption we had to use the stairs to the 5th floor. We tried to manage with senior citizen. On our last night, July 5, power interruption worsened til 11pm.

the door/key card was defective i had to go back to the reception area 2x all d way from 5th flr..everytime we go out....only to find out that what they did the firat time i went back at the recption did not fix the issue. We had to wait so long for someone to be at our doorstep just to fix the defective door.

Staff didn't honour the VAT exempt. Front office said that I booked online so it's not eligible. I was too tired to contend so I just paid the bill. Only hotel in PH that didn't issue this benefit.
The hotel restaurant was great. I had in-room dining and had the breakfast buffet. Food tastes amazing. The room was okay - just what you would expect for a budget hotel. The interiors and hallways remind me of hotels in the Midwest lol. Clean and compact. Nothing extraordinary but has everything you need for the night.

The entertainment was so outdated. No in-room utilities such as flat iron and thermos.
