Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

NetherlandsThe accommodation is perfect. The only thing which is a pitty, it that the floating restaurants with music passing by the whole day. But that will be at every accommodation at the river! Also kind of funny. We just stayed one day at the location and the other day we rented a scooter.
Beautiful location at the river! Nice huts and the Staff is so friendly. They serve good food, you can rent a scooter. We really liked the relaxing area.

AustraliaConsider that from the main road to the access it is about 3km unpaved road, when it rains it gets muddy. Once you get there there are 277 steps to go down (and up if you need to leave) I didn't mind but good to know for other travellers. They offer a boat service to the "center" for 150 pesos p/p which I strongly recommend.
It is a gem in the middle of the forest, close to the river. The reception/ restaurant is open from early morning until 10pm and their food is delicious..there are hammocks and ping pong table to play. The views to the mountain from the restaurant is beautiful. You immerse yourself in nature.

CanadaIt’s a super cool place, location is amazing, right on the river. Very secluded and simple jungle feel. The hosts are super friendly and very helpful with anything you need. It is remote, so bare that in mind (but in a really good way)

HungaryOnly downside for us was the food - since the place is very hard to access, you are stuck with the one restaurant, which has amazing views, but the food is very expensive and quite underwhelming. Since the owner is belgian, we tried the fries, it cost a fortune and it was saggy, oily and a very small portion for the price. Other foods were also pricey and quite avarage, but the vibes of the restaurant were great.
Dreamy location, very unique, right in the middle of the jungle! Hard to access, which for us, just added to the charm. You can fall asleep listening to the jungle. I would absolutely recommend this place for the adventurous people, great price for a unique experience ☺️ Thank you!

AustraliaThe peace and tranquillity of the location is shattered by the noisy boats on the river during the day,as well as the neighbours who also like to play loud music from 7am.No WiFi makes onward travel plans challenging. The food is very average, but they have very challenging logistics due to the location.
The location is beautiful, the staff are friendly and kind.Take the "check in by boat " option as the road and the steps are a nightmare. They organised a taxi tour for us with Mila ,who is wonderful, the most careful driver in all of the Philippines!Free refills of filtered water are fantastic.

TaiwanIf you’re into nature and a rural experience, this can be a good choice. While if you’re not comfortable climbing 2 hundred stairs every time leaving your room, this might be good for you.

United KingdomBe prepared for lots of stairs and a complete lack of mod cons. Generally, the staff are lovely but they can come across as a bit reticent to help you. One thing to mention is that this place really is isolated! I am travelling solo and had a motorbike accident - it was extremely difficult to leave Nuts Huts (nearly 300 very steep stairs!) to get medication. Be prepared. The loud floating restaurants cruising down the river also ruined the vibe somewhat, but if you’re out exploring in the day time then you won’t notice it.
Incredible location and wildlife! Rooms are very basic but they are clean and there’s plenty of space.

MalaysiaOur family really enjoyed the experience. The arrival by boat was special, and meant that we did not have to navigate the stairs. the setting is really extraordinary. It is quite rustic and sometimes feels makeshift but to us it added to the charm of it. The restaurant had so amazing views and nice food and a generally good vibe.

NetherlandsAs already mentioned in the comments the road to get there can be tough especially when it rains. Keep in mind that they are a lot of stairs to go back up, the showers will be cold and the accommodations are not isolated (original filipinos huts) so it can be noisy. If this is not a problem for you then you'll have a nice experience!
People a nice and the location is beautiful, we enjoyed chilling in the shared living room and the food (good healthy and vegetarian options).

PolandDriveway to the hotel. It's extreme, especially after the rain. We also didn't like the way we were treated by stuff. We sat at the restaurant having a very nice time with other guests... Suddenly one of the staff came to us and said we have two minutes to quit the restaurant 😅 we could have been warned at least 15 minutes before or 5 minutes earlier when we were ordering next round of drinks.
The place. It's just next to the river. Waterfall are right after the corner.

AustriaUnfortunately, the floating restaurants are loud and disruptive between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. We found the fact that you pay per person per hour for the kayak to be exaggerated. Price per kayak/hr would be fair or at least children could be free - 2 adults and 3 children for P1500/hr was too expensive for us.
The riverside cabins in the jungle were an adventure (positive). We can recommend arriving by boat, also hiking on the other bank of the river to Loboc, swimming in the river or kayaking to the waterfall and ending the day in the evening on the terrace in the restaurant. Food and service were good. Unfortunately we could only stay two nights. You should definitely visit Pangas Falls!

BelgiumThe location is fantastic but it is not easy to get to. The access road from the main road (about 800m) to the parking area is in a very poor state (mud, puddles, rocks). After rain, it becomes quite slippery so be very careful when riding a motorcycle towards the parking from the main road. Given that the rooms are located in a gorge next to the river, this means that it involves doing a lot of stairs. There are just below 300 steps from the parking to the rooms, with the restaurant being more or less in the middle. The location adds to the beauty of the place, but if you have difficulty walking, beware. The rooms could use some updating.
The location is fantastic in a gorge near the Loboc river. It is a very peaceful setting and the rooms are very affordable. We stayed for almost a week and on 3 occasions, we spotted a monitor lizard just outside our cabin. If you are a nature lover with a good physical condition and do not mind basic facilities in the rooms, this is truly a fantastic choice. The restaurant has reasonable prices ad a good variety of food options. The view from the restaurant is also great.

FranceVery good experience, exotic and very quiet place. Ideal to completely disconnect and enjoy the jungle! The arrival on site (by road) is quite sporty but the beauty of the place is worth it. The restaurant is really a peaceful place to contemplate the view. The card is diverse and the service is continuous all day long. The cottage nestled in the jungle next to the river, really really pretty. It's quite rustic but practical. The awakening to the song of the cicadas is exceptional. The boat departure is really to be done (and avoid going up all the steps).

LithuaniaA lot of stairs to the restaurant or to the parking :) If you travel with a heavy luggage, probably not an option to come by car. Or then need to choose coming by boat.
One of the nicest place we slept in Philippines. The bungalows are just by the river, sounds of the nature (and of the loud music at day time from thoae touristic boats). We came by small boat (one pf the options to come to the hotel), and we liked the short trip via jungle river. Clean rooms, cosy restaurant and nice staff. Delicious food, good options for breakfast.
