This is a great social hostel and I’d really recommend if you were a solo traveller. Lots going on and the staff were lovely! Especially May on the bar!

My stay at Outpost Hostel was fantastic. As a social hostel, it offered plenty of fun activities, making it easy to meet people. I especially enjoyed the on-site cooking class—the hosts made it super engaging, and the food was delicious! They also had trivia nights and lively drinking games, adding to the fun atmosphere. The location was convenient, with a McDonald's at the end of the street (featuring a menu quite different from the U.S.) and plenty of tuktuks nearby for easy transportation. I stayed in a mixed dorm and had no issues with the other occupants. There were plenty of showers and toilets, so I never had to wait. The main lobby was welcoming, with huge bean bags and swings that made for a great spot to relax outside the dorms. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Everything! The staff is great, they create an really good vibe! I felt safe and seen as a solotraveler. Social hostel with really nice vibes in common areas (pool and bar on rooftop was lovely). 12 p dorm but the dorm was big enough and everybody was friendly and caring.

This place is let down by its staff. There were a couple of mean girls at reception. One was so conceited and only interested in flirting with male travellers. Would ignore female customers. They refused to give my passport which they take for security (this is so outdated) and if you don’t give that they ask for a ridiculous 1,000 pesos!!! I stayed at Frendz and they only took 200 pesos as a deposit. Also a member of staff at the restaurant/bar internationally short changed me. Overall there are a few bag eggs here which ruined my experience. Lockers are under the bed and a pain to use especially as the dorms are quite narrow.

The best parts were the mattress (so comfy) the shower was one of the best I’d used in the Philippines. The rooftop pool is a nice touch. The games and involvement for travels is also good. Tours on off good too.

The only downside was that the water would go on and off but usually would be fixed pretty quickly.

We stayed here as a couple in a private room, but got involved with their boat tour and met loads of fun people. The location is good, it felt a bit pricey for a hostel though the staff were amazing and made it feel a bit more justified. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

A bit noisy. I saw one of the stuff members taking pictures in the toilet of girls while brushing teeth...

Most of all personnel are super nice and friendly. Location is a bit outside the main part of the town but makes it quiet and easily to walk anyway. The views are very nice and it's convenient the have everything inside, Bae, restaurant, laundry, tours etc..

Great island hopping door tour. The facilities was nice and clean. I love the pool. Stuff was lovely and joyful. J you’re great, I miss you girl.

The pool was not really clean, but it was not nasty or anything like that. There were also very little spots to sunbathe.

Amazing hostel. The best one I have stayed at! Staff was extremely helpful and nice! The vibe of the whole place is very friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfy, rooms are good temp. Pool and bar are really nice! Food was expensive but amazing. They offer a lot of excursions at the front desk and I did choose many of them - all worth it!

Would have been nice if the breakfast started at 630am instead of 7am so we weren't so rushed for our 8am tour pick ups. More storage for clothing like a shelf would have been nice as well.

The staff were very friendly. Food and drink prices were reasonable. Clean rooms.

No full length mirror in the private room & the lighting in the bathroom was really poor so it was difficult for me to do my make-up. The pillows were a bit too hard/thick, which was uncomfortable.

The rooftop pool/bar has an absolutely stunning view. Activities were run there each night so it was really easy to meet people. The music was always turned off at 10pm so you could still get a good night's rest if you needed to be somewhere early the next day. The staff running the activities were enthusiastic & fun whilst the staff at reception were really helpful. For example, they were happy to organise an airport shuttle for us. The food served in the restaurant was outstanding. Highlights were the adobo and the French toast. We booked the private room, which was large and beautifully furnished.

The entrance to the reception .. the steep slope ..the staff carried my suitcase foe me as I was unable to get it up stairs and was terrified of the slope 🤣 accident prone person here ..

The staff were amazing ALL of them remembered my name .. every time !! Means a lot to me to have that kind of experience.. clean and tidy throughout.. loved the whole experience ❤️

Great hostel! I stayed in a mix dorm and the bed was iincredibly comfy. The room had a great blackout so I could sleep in during the morning is needed. Would stay again!
