Excellent location, right next to the ocen, great staff, nice bar and very good breakfast! Lisa is a bomb! She is fantastic! We couldn’t ask for anything she would not solve! Helped with bike rental, airport transfer, massage etc! Best stay in the Philippines!

Nothing. It was perfect

The place feels secluded and peaceful yet it's a quick trip to Panasagama Beach by bike or tuktuk. It's the best of both worlds. The staff are amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! The whole vibe was relaxed and pleasant. It was super quiet at night, and the snorkelling out the front of the hotel was just lovely. They helped us get a moped, and that made it super easy to nip into town. They also helped us arrange cars to our next destination too! Our only regret was not staying longer :(

We absolutely loved our stay at Sambag Hideaway, even before we arrived Lisa kept in touch to help organise transfers and activities. We arrived later on around 7pm and Lisa was there to greet us at the gates and was extremely friendly and helped us get checked in and to our room which was very clean and comfy! As we were there quite late she also helped us order our dinner from a local restaurant which was delicious and the following day got our scooter rental and booked our canyoneering trip. Lisa and the rest of the team are amazing and an absolute credit to the hotel!! Thank you for an amazing stay and we would definitely return in the future!

We stayed for two nights. Arrival and departure from/to Cebu. Lisa (PoC) organised the transport on request. A scooter was available at the accommodation on prior request. Our room was clean. The accommodation is a 5-10 minute drive from the centre / waterfront. To summarise: Very helpful staff, quiet location, clean accommodation. We would come again.

Picked this place based on all the good reviews. It was 10 out of 10. Excellent staff and owners. Beautifull property well cared for. Extremely clean rooms with tioletries. After a fun day of exploring they have a covered patio restaurant/ bar. Excellent food and view. Great place to relax and meet fellow travelers. Lisa at front desk arranged scooters and gave us loads of advice on where to go what to do. She was the best. Not one bad thing to say. Travelled with a 7 year old. They made his stay incredible.

A lovely peaceful location right by the seafront where turtles can be seen. Lisa was so helpful advising us on things to do and transfers etc. So good to have a kettle in the room too! 10 min tuk tuk from restaurants etc

Nothing - everything was incredible.

WOW! This property is gorgeous. The rooms are great and have everything you need - comfortable and clean. What makes this property extra special is the surroundings and the staff. Lisa went above and beyond in so many ways to make our stay memorable. We only had a few days, and she helped make sure we were able to do everything we wanted to by coordinating a scooter rental, tours and suggesting other activities. She was so friendly and we loved chatting with her. She recommended a restaurant for food when we arrived late at night, and it was one of the best meals we had in the Philippines. They even delivered to the apartment. The surroundings are amazing - you can snorkel right off the property and see sea turtles, colourful fish and corals, starfish and much more.

I ordered food to be delivered and it was just terrible. Chicken teriyaki and it was so dry and tough I could not eat it . I don't recommend.

Perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Moalboal if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful along the water! Just a quick scooter ride into town, the location was ideal for us. The staff also go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and can help you book any tours you want to do during your stay!

This place was absolutely amazing getaway in Phillipines!! It was so clean, tranquil and relaxing! it didn't have any unwanted noise at night, room had sufficient ventilation and natural light. it really felt like a gem find in the Philippines! Location-wise, it's around a 10-minute scooter ride to local or the tourist town. which is the golden ticket for a tranquil experience! You would need a scooter if staying at this property, as it's not on the main road stretch. A small stretch of road leading to the property is a bit bumpy, but let's be real, most of the local roads are! So, please don't get tricked, as this is no different. staff were absolutely amazing in this place and helpful at each step. check-in and check-out procedures were very easy, even if we traveled at very awkward times (late evening and early morning). Very clean and renovated This accommodation is just a few steps from the water, where you can snorkel and swim! it's not a sandy beach, so make sure to bring your water shoes. they also have all equipment for rent, if needed. to be honest, the beach at this property was much better than the one in town, as it was private and had very clear water. I was able to spot starfish, sea urchins, and fish. We were also able to drive to Kawasan Waterfalls with the scooter (took around 40-60 minutes one way from this property). a really worthwhile journey to take (make sure to leave early to avoid crows, open hours are 5 am-3 pm)! If making the journey yourself, don't go directly into the waterfall to find the guide, instead, you need to make sure to stop at one of the stalls prior to the waterfall (I recommend the one in front of 7-11) and get a guide from there. if you arrive at the waterfall, you can visit only level 1, but not canyoneering. this property also offers tours to Kawasan Waterfalls if you prefer a group experience.

Too secluded without a vehicle.

It’s a little bit out of town but easy to arrange a tuk tuk or if you can drive a scooter it’s very easy!

There wasn’t a restaurant on site but a local restaurant delivered free of charge. That was ok with us but something to consider. The resort did provide a good breakfast for a fee.

It was 15 min scooter ride from the busyness of downtown but that’s what we want. Peaceful, great accommodation and excellent staff. Big shout out to Lisa. She made us feel so welcome and was extremely helpful.
