There was that damp smell that lingered in our room during our two day stay but it didn't dampened our holiday as we were rarely indoors.

Staff were very accommodating and service was amazing! Having the pool right there to cool down was even better! Location-wise .... Close to places and if you are reading this ... Nearby there is a cute cafe upstairs (2f cafe) .. definitely give it a go ~

The hotel was perfect for some days of relax and disconnection. The room was very clean and comfortable. The workers of the hotel were always there to help you and make your stay easier.

We checked in late (as in past 10pm) on our first night and while the room was in order, the shower head in the bathroom was not. We had to ask for maintenance to get it checked at that hour - but why wasn’t it checked when the room was empty? Even so we didn’t get any feedback that maintenance will no longer be available since it is past 11pm but I wasn’t informed of this when i first approached the front desk. I was made to wait until past 12midnight to know of this feedback. We had to wait for the next day to get it fixed as early as 7:30am.

The property if surrounded by greeneries which is very pleasant to the eyes, and the outdoor facilities seem to be maintained well. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though at times you need to push more so you can get what you need when you need it.

If you have any mobility issues ask for a room downstairs as the steps going upstairs are a little steep

Siman Panglao is like being home from home. Angelica and her team were amazing, nothing was to difficult from ordering tricycle to booking daytrips ( which was all competitively priced ) or take out. Whatever you needed to make your stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend Simon Panglao to any solo mature woman ( l normally travel solo ) it's safe , authentic, clean , comfortable and a real cross section of fellow traveller ( young , old , family and locals ) You have to get a tricycle ( really cheap) anywhere but you have the added bonus of feeling your in the village yet still close enough to where it's all happening ( 5 - 10 min ride ) The pool is a good size and has good steps down ( if you have any mobility issues ) There is a little store next door which is real handy and you can get your laundry sent out at reception. We made this our base to explore Bohol and it absolutely ticked all the boxes ( we stayed 10 days )

Felt like we were closer to real life rather than tourist strip. Pool was amazing and the staff were fabulous- nothing was too much trouble and they gave great advice about where to go for wonderful experiences

Toilet door cannot lock. Toilet glass door is transparent. Can see people inside. Embarrassing. No netflix or you tube account.

Sometimes there is no front desk available to assist our requests. They forgot to put spoons and towels inside our 2nd room.

The stuff. I checked in last night after 11 PM. The guy at the front desk barely spoke any English and had us waiting for about 10 minutes before realizing he couldn’t handle the check-in. He then went to get a girl who finished the process in just two minutes. The next morning around 9:30 AM, another guy used the key card to open our door despite me repeatedly shouting “Don’t come in!” after hearing him outside. It was absolutely rude.
