Nothing really. Only small things such as the lack of a hot shower, and the fan was exceptionally loud.

Very friendly lady, who helped us well if we had any questions! The huts are really cute, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. There shared bathroom was basic but it's everything you need. Additionally it was a good place to stay the night before taking the boat to Malapascua.

The roosters sing the whole night also if you want to walk to the port it's a bit far (2km)

The sea was beautiful and there was a free breakfast and a free pick up (before 10pm)

The communication was really good, you need instruction to get there. The sweet couple who lives there is very nice, they prepared us dinner due we arrived a bit late. The resort is basic but is doing its job, everything was clean and tidy. Good location if you want to relax, it's literal on the beach. We arrived by bus and we took the shuttle bike to get there for free. Available also to get to Maya port for few pesos

The property is very hard to find in the dark, I would recommend getting there when it is still light outside. Luckily a kid walked me there in the evening or I don’t know if I would’ve found it.

The owner is very sweet and provides a nice breakfast that you can enjoy with a view of the ocean. Private room with clean bathrooms.

Far from any food options and we were unable to get anything at the hostel as other reviews have mentioned. It was a 1 hour round trip walk for a restaurant.

Wifi costs $$, but honestly I stayed for a night before boarding the ferry to Maya so it did not bother me at all (the wifi situation).

Free breakfast was delicious! Dinner (paid) was also delicious and homecooked. It was very quiet and I appreciated the proximity to the beach (literally right in front of it).

The walls are really thin so you can hear everything going on outside, so if you are a light sleeper like me it might bother you.

The free pick up from the bus stop to the hotel is much appreciated. It was late but the owner cooked us delicious meals at a cheap price. The shared bathrooms were super clean and tidy. They also offer ride to the port for a fair price.

Staff lovely. The huts are nice and confortable. Very clean. Good place in front the ocean. I was for the night transit to go Malapascua. I arrived very late (1 am) any problem. Very nice place. They offer transport (triciclo) to go to the port. Very kind driver and good one triciclo. Good price.

It is a long walk to town with your heavy backpacks and I agree with the owners that, after dark, it's not nice to walk all the day to the huts so it's not the best location if you plan on going for food (there are no businesses around). Wifi is provided by the Piso Wifi which is cheap but note that you need coins.

Nice little cabins on a family property and right on the beach. I had a calm sleep. They picked me up at a nearby restaurant when I arrived late which I appreciated.

I wasn’t put in a hut but a little room attached to the owners. It was not quite what I expect but was clean. Location was a little tricky so recommend getting transport there or call the property collect you.

Beach front huts were well situated on the beach. People were friendly

I guess the downfall is location - if you were to stay long you would need a bike to go to the town. Not sure what else there is to do in the area. But if you just wanted a quiet stay, and good WiFi with the beach this is a good spot to do so!

What a little gem! We only used this place as a one night stop to go to Malapasca but it's such a good price for what you get!! We stayed in one of the little huts which were small but mosquito free, great fan and clean bedding and towel. There were small shelves, chair and hammock outside the room. The huts aren't facing the beach but the property is on the beach front which is super cool. The beach isn't the BEST beach but it's got a great coloured sea and some rocks and sand. We had to use one of those WiFi machines to get WiFi which was very cheap and you could pause the WiFi when you weren't using it so we paid for two hours at 10 peso! So cheap and it worked very very well, we were very impressed. We got picked up for free from the bus stop, late at night! And the lady supplied us with dinner at 8pm which was very kind. Breakfast was given to us for free - an omelette and toast.

Coin machine wifi didn't work even after paying. Coin machine for drinking water. My room smelled a little like cat pee I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff a little by asking for coffee in the morning or soap/shampoo for the shower.

The owner Nanay is suuuuper nice. Her husband picked me up from the bus stop outside the property. Best fried chicken I've had in the Philippines. She's a great cook! Chill vibes. Hung in the hammock and read. Rustic accommodations tho.

A small familiar place Just in front of the beach and super quiet. The family taking care of the place is super nice, wellcoming and took care of us at all times with a big smile. 5 minutes by tricycle from the port. Super nice option for the price to stay in Maya before or after visiting Malapascua. Recomended!

Right in front of the beach so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Hut was traditional but simple, no airconditioning but a fan that did the job. Communal shower worked well, private hammock and host was friendly! Very quiet and small, just a few huts, and beach all for yourself (since theres nobody there) so I was happily surprised since I just booked the night when I was stuck in Maya Port.
