The matresses aren't the best, they were very soft.

There are a lot of great communal spaces, like a kitchen, a rooftop woth pooltable+bar and they are also building the swimmingpool area right now. The staff organizes an event every night, so there is a lot of oppertunity to meet fellow travellers. The rooms and bathrooms were also very clean!

Facility and location are excellent. The staff is really nice and welcoming. They played a lot of table tennis, billiards, and karaoke with us. You can do a lot of activities here during rainy days, and you will also meet many new friends. The 24hr hot shower is a luxury item in the island. I enjoy my stay in Sunlit.

There was no space outside for hanging wet clothes. So everyone was drying their clothes in the dorm which made it a bit smelly

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It’s located in a good area where all the main attractions can be accessed easily. All the workers were super kind and helpful throughout my time at Sunlit, especially Reg. She helped me book my ride to the airport when it was late and she should’ve been home. She also had amazing vibes and was happy to join in with some of the games. Very thankful and would definitely go again!

Amazing hostel! We spent 1 week here and we had the best time. Great rooms and facilities, very social, and really great workers! The family dinners were amazing. Would highly recommend this hostel.

Everything was good. There was just construction going on at the back and you could hear the workers as early as 7am. Hope it’s over soon.

Though I was not able to join, I liked that they have different activities daily so everyone can meet and get together. Friendly staff for sure!

Nothing, I enjoyed everything about the place

The private room was very spacious and clean, new aircon working perfectly (not the noisy ones you find everywhere else). Staff is great, like a family. Upstairs common area really nice. Honestly everything was perfect about this place

It more than my expectations.

I loved my 7 days in sunlit because it felt like home. From the owner who is very informative of the situation when the power cut off (i stayed for 7 days with the blackout in the whole island, thank God for the Solar Panels) to the amazing staffs mel,raf,reg and the ate's who maintain the cleanliness of the place was the highlight. Im a solo traveler but it felt like I had a family for a week in sunlit. I even cooked once breakfast with people I met in the hostel, it's a place to meet fellow travelers. They care and assist u with everything and the location is just perfect!

One of the best hostels in Siargao for a reason. The staff are very welcoming and make a big effort to include everyone. There's something in every night from quizzes, to beer pong and family dinners. Great upstairs with a bar, table tennis, pool, darts and chill out area. Beds were comfy and very private. Shower and toilet area were private and well maintained. Aircon was good in the shared dorm. Social hostel without being a party hostel.

The staff greeted me with a big smile and they were all so kind. Thanks to Mill, Leng, Reg, and Ben and making my stay more fun. I never felt that I travelled alone because of you guys! And also I got go meet some new kind friends. Emily, Elsa, Sabrina, Alexia, Marinita, and to all room 1 guests! The room is nice and clean. The bathroom and the shower as well. All in all, it's 10/10. Highly recommended. The hostel hosts some activities like tournaments and tours which is fun to watch. l will be back again, Sunlit!

The only negative about the property was the motorcycle hire. The bikes weren’t all working properly, for example my speedometer was broken.

The beds were super comfy and spacious at Sunlit. I also loved how social the hostel was in comparison to the other hostels in General Luna. The staff were super friendly and there was events on everyday in the hostel.

There's building work happening right outside the dorms which can be quite loud from around 7:30am - ok if you're getting up early to surf

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the hostel is in a good location and right next to a very nice vegan cafe. Big thanks to Redge, Mill & Winston who made my stay awesome! & the lovely cleaning team who went to all lengths to find my lost item.

The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The place is well maintained and always cleaned. The entertainment area on the second floor is a good spot to chill. The beds are comfy as well, and there are enough storage space for your stuff. All in all, a really great place to stay. Shoutout to the staff and management for making Sunlit a cozy place!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They made it a point to remember my name and say hi as I came and went. The bathrooms were cleaned frequently. There were lots of social events, like dinners, ping pong tournaments, and more. If you're looking for more social vibes, less party vibes, this hostel is the one for you. There's even a relaxing and chill second-floor social area. Lots of folks end up extending their stay, and I can see why.

I recently stayed at Sunlit Hostel and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The internet was impressively fast, which made it easy to stay connected and get some work done. There were so many activities and things to do, both within the hostel and in the surrounding area, that I was never bored. From organized tours to social events, there was always something happening. The hostel offers great value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms at an affordable price. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a great space to meet other travelers. Overall, I highly recommend Sunlit Hostel for anyone looking for a friendly, fun, and affordable place to stay. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were all helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful tucked away from the busyness of the main tourism road area but close enough to the action. There’s a nice restaurant across the hostel perfect for brunch/lunch. If you don’t rent a motorbike, tuktuks frequently passed by the end of the road. Great WiFi connection and the solar panels worked well while other businesses in the area were impacted by the power interruptions that tend to happen on the island. A perfect balance between being a social and chill hostel - in the day, you’ll find guests working remotely or playing ping pong on the roof & in the evening, many people are playing pool, darts, ping pong, hanging out and drinking on the roof. Newly renovated bathrooms that the staff frequently clean were nice too.
