We had a great stay! The staff was friendly and have good tips what to do and where to go. They also had scooter rental. The common kitchen was really nice so we could make our own breakfast and they also had free drinkable water. The dog Butsi was cute and friendly! We recommend this place!

You’re staying in a container so it doesn’t feel like you’re in an actual house. Not a big deal for us though. The premises are alright, there is just not really a vibe ( unlike all the other places we’ve been to in the Philippines we didn’t feel very welcome, the staff was a bit reserved) so we weren’t sad to leave after one night.

It was clean and we could use the kitchen. They have a dog which is extremely cute and the location is good too. They also sent us a lot of recommendations for food etc when we arrived.

My companions and I liked how hands on Billy is from check in to check out. He also gave us itineraries which really helped us since we have no idea what places to go to. He also helped us to secure a car that we can rent and use as our group decided to do a DIY travel in Siargao. Billy is a star! ⭐️ Worthy to mention is how Suyog has a generator as back up (brownouts are usual in the island) and how stable their internet connection is. We had a lovely stay in Suyog! 🫶🏻

Maybe it was just me because I had sensitive eyes, but the light kind of hurt my eyes, I wish there was an option for a white light bulb instead but either than that everything else was AMAZING, would definitely stay here again when we come back

We loved our stay, it made our vacation much more relaxing knowing that we would come home to a clean room and very hospitable staff. They would clean your room every day and tend to your inquiries right away which was amazing, and Billy always responded if you had any questions, amazing service!

Mattresses were on a mattress base built out of packing crates so were very low. It wasn't an issue for us but would have preferred a regular height bed. The walls were thin. It is possible to hear other in the rooms next door talking. Turned out to not be a huge issue but was still something to consider. Bathroom had a strong (septic tank) smell sometimes.

Staff: All the staff were awesome. Billy, Hotel Manager, was outstanding...so helpful and responsive. Always had great ideas on things to try and places to visit.  Backup Generator: An important consideration is that Siargao electrical supply is absolutely hopeless and will go off multiple times per hour so good hotels have backup generators that kick in when the electricity goes off. Luckily for us (because we never considered this), Suyog had a really good back up generator which meant aircon (which is absolutely critical to be comfortable in Siargao due to the high heat) and other electrical requirements were not an issue. Rooms: Rooms themselves were comfortable and practical. Mattress was good. Rooms had air conditioning and a fan. Shower water heater worked well. All rooms had a drying rack and coat hangers outside the door for drying clothes. Drinking Water: Water dispenser was available (chilled) for all guests to use as required. Communal Area: Communal area has a large table to sit at and chat also had a kitchen which can be used by guests. Location: Location meant that Greenwave Cafe (great coffee) was < 5 mins walk, Backside Burgers was around 6 mins walk  and the hundred of other places to eat, drink, sing, and socialise in Tourism Rd  were only a few mins after Greenwave. Room Rate: Appeared to be very reasonable.

Billy the host was the best host we’ve had on our 3 months of travelling so far. He really wants you to just have the best time. Constantly giving us suggestions, best places to eat, where the nightlife is, what to do in the day. Couldn’t fault him one bit. Room was also cleaned every day also

Billy and the rest of his staff went above and beyond for me and my family of 6 during our stay. Billy gave us tons of amazing recommendations for food & activities around the island, which we were all super grateful for! The wifi is super fast and is suitable for remote work, the beds are really comfy, the aircon is strong, and they have a generator to power the whole place during power outages which is necessary on the island. There is also a kitchen, which my family used for cooking. The location is perfect and is walkable to the center of General Luna. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Siargao. Billy and the team is hospitable. He always guide us where to go, to eat, to party and easy to be along with. You feel safe and comfortable with him and other staff. Billy booked us everything we need such as motorycle, island hopping and van transfers. Bathroom is really neat. Heater is working all the time. After a long tiring day they change the comforter and pillow cases. Small gestures but we really appreciate. I feel home. We’ll be back. Worth the penny.

The room was clean, although sometimes there were ants/insects in the room and an odd smell coming from the bathroom which is quite normal on an island. Some humidity stains on wall. Other than that all perfect!!

We had an amazing stay at Suyog. The hosts were incredible kind, cleaned our room everyday and helped us discover the island. The rooms were nice, small but with all the basics equipped. Comfortable and clean bed, and hot showers. You can refill your water bottle and also rent a scooter with them. Great location! Would definitely come back here when in Siargao. Thank you!!

Super loved our stay in Suyog! We stayed here for 6 days 5 nights and it was so nice to come home to fresh, clean sheets, towels etc every day. The staff made our stay extra special- they were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful 💜 location was great too. Peaceful as it was not too close to the center.

The smell in the bathroom was sometimes irritating / fishy Location was not bad but also not perfect. If you are easily scared at night, it can be recommended to take a scooter to go out in General Luna as the surroundings of the hotel seemed a bit sketchy.

We really liked the owner/host as he organised everything for us (scooter and transfer to the airport), provided us with great recommendations on Siargao and was very friendly and welcoming Cleaning of the rooms was provided daily and done in a tidy manner

Good located, very clean. We had housekeeping every day. Also, we rented a bike in a property. The guy from the reception (I don't know if he is owner or not) was super responsible, requested an airport transfer for us, and helped a lot by sharing list of recommendations where to go, where to have a breakfast/lunch/dinner etc. we rented a normal room, but it wasn't available and the hotel gave us a room with 5 double beds :D Cozy and cute place
