I loved my stay at CBR. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and understatedly stylish. The resort is slap bang on the beach and so beautiful and relaxing. Its small gardens are crammed full of greenery which add to the relaxing ambience. The staff are always present but in no way intrusive. They helped with hiring a scooter and got me a fantastic price. They support with tours but never push them. The breakfast was delicious and amazing to have outdoors with the beach as the viewpoint. I chose this to avoid being in el nido town, it’s a fifteen minute walk either on the road or on the beach. There’s plenty of restaurants close to the place so you don’t have to go into el nido for that purpose. I would 100% recommendation staying at CBR.

If you want full privacy, you have to have the curtains closed, as the room door and windows are the same thing. It makes the room darker. Not a big problem, though.

You could hear the noise from outside and the showerhead had a weak stream. Only little things. The rest was perfect.

The only negatives were the shower temperature and water pressure and the smell of sewage at times. In all fairness, we never raised the issue with the shower so that is our own fault and frankly it is not the end of the world and not something that bothered us greatly (hence not mentioning it). The sewage smell was intermittent and before we booked we noticed literally every place in El Nido mentions this as a problem from time to time so this is not something that is an issue just at this resort.

The property is in an amazing location and our room faced directly onto the beach. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. There was plenty of filtered water available in the rooms as well. The bed was large and comfortable. The air con was brilliant which made sleeping so much easier with the heat The staff were always friendly and attentive and the cost of the breakfast was very reasonable. We thought it was perfect location wise. There were nice restaurants and beach bars all within a few minutes walk and the tour company we used for our boat trip day were along the same beach. You were honestly spoiled for choice. We ran into the main part of El Nido to the gym as it’s only a few km away and the rest of the time we got the tuk tuks in which was only 100 pesos. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this place to anybody travelling to El Nido. They were also great at arranging collection from the airport and arranging our transfer down to Port Barton.

The property was lovely, the location was something special, highly highly recommend! The sunset from the bar is something else. A Tuk Tuk was provided by the hotel to the town for 100pesos each. It’s a must see.

Unfortunately we had really loud neighbors who started drinking outside at 6 am sometimes so it was noisy in our room (not the fault of the resort of course). The shower didn't have much pressure but it worked. We had our laundry done here and it worked well within 1,5 days but our clothes didn't smell fresh and a little old after that. But thats not influencing my evaluation because it's completely optional and everything else was amazing :)

Corong Beach resort is right next to the beach and we could see the ocean from our room. The bar/breakfast area has amazing views. The owners are very helpful und the resort is decorated with lots of love and attention to detail - we liked the beautiful plants all over the place. Rooms are very clean und they also get cleaned every day. Water for brushing teeth is provided daily and you can refill your bottles with purified water at the bar for free. Breakfast is good and prices are very reasonable compared to other places around El Nido. The owner provided medication and elektrolytes for us when one of us got sick which was very lovely. Thank you again! They make the juices there themselves and the Calamansi Juice is absolutely worth trying! :) We also rented a scooter there for a good price organizing it was uncomplicated. Would stay here again.

Cons: Far from el Nido town with all the restos, bars, stores & coffee shops ( you have to take a tuk tuk to town - about a 10 minute ride) No swimming pool

Pros: - Beautiful sunsets on a quiet beach - Corong Beach - Nice, large & clean room with good A/C & a patio you could have your morning coffee in - & nice sized bathroom as well with hot water heated shower - Good breakfast (not included in our package) - Comfortable beds & linens - Friendly staff - TIP: Room #1 (their family room ) is more beachfront than their other units
