Amenities in the room and renovate the bathroom

The place, the wonderful staff: Annie and her team at the reception, the restaurant with delicious food and very nice staff. I am sorry to give a 6 because for this price, you are waiting for more amenities in the room: No glass to clean your teeth, the shower is broken, no tissue box. My friend forgot his tooth brush: The guard was so sweet and helpful that he took his bike to get one in Donsol at night, asking nothing in return.. You should think that they would have a few toothbrushes available in stock, in case. NO bottle of water, no access to purified water. In many resorts in the Philippines, even 2 star, you have access to cold and hot water on a dispenser. I told Annie at the reception that if that hotel was not close from the Whale shark center, they would have no guests coming back! I would recommend to make an effort on amenities and when I come back, I will be happy to give a 10/10 to that hotel.

The room was close to the road so sometimes the noise of a car can awake you. I recommend to book ocean view rooms for a bit more of price. The reception is only open until 6 pm No cleaning service

This accommodation accepts cash only. And the room is a bit rundown. Value for money regarding the accommodation itself is overpriced. The room is very outdated and needs a big renovation for the price you pay. Then again you pay for the location as it is so close to the whale shark attraction. If you are in a wheelchair ask for the ground floor. There are only stairs to get to the first floor. There is a small step down from the sink. So beware of that. If you don’t mind that It is a bit noisy because you can here your neighbors. The shower did not have a lot of pressure and the toilet -when almost full- the water reservoir makes a loud noise. Looks like perhaps termites are in the wooden frame of the beds. You can buy water at their restaurant (so it is not complementary) At the Restaurant you can get free WiFi. WiFi is not available in the room itself. The Airco is not powerful enough to cool the whole room. If your sensitive to light bring some Ductape to cover the cracks in the front door and window.

The location is a 1 min walk to the whale shark center. That’s the main reason to book this accommodation. The spacious room with a balcony had an amazing ocean view for watching the sunset between the palmtrees. Daily replenishment of basic amenities and 1 toilet roll a day. Towels had a nice scent. There’s a nice pool (bring your own towel). There’s also a restaurant at the property. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The location - it is close to where the whale shark tours depart from and is nice and quiet. Large room with a balcony, we enjoyed the pool and reasonable food and drink prices.

Cleanliness and maintenance. The images in the photos are true and the resort looks awesome from the outside. Walk inside, it feels rundown. Furniture are not maintained, sofa/couch is broken, the cupboard is mouldy - you wouldn't want to keep anything there, last paint job spills are seen everywhere - even on the safe. Be certain, this is NOT a 3 star resort you are walking into. The bathroom shower stall was broken. Had to almost carry it ito position so that the rest of the bathroom wouldn't get wet. Food is not good - apologies for the bluntness. First dish I ordered was too oily and did not seem to be authentic per local standards (had ordered Bicol Express). On the first day they took early order for dinner for 7. When I landed up, while the food was served promptly, i realised that it had already been cooked for a while and the barbeque chicken had hardened and the french fries were already soggy and oily. Had a to order a separate freshly made soup. The food choices are limited, many things were not available. I asked what was available and chose the most appetising out of that. The restaurant service during breakfast was non existent when I landed up late - I could see harried staff running around - capacity shortage maybe. I actually found two other resorts nearby - one have better rooms, the other had better food. Ended up having all my meals in the second resort. Unfortunately neither of these resorts are on booking.com. Finally, one request to the very kind lady in the front desk - who manages all our demands - please note there is an unhealthy smell in the reception. Please do look into it.

The location and the staff. The location s right on Donsol beach. Its right next to the Whale shark Butanding centre. Every room has a sea view. The rooms are HUUUUGE. The resort has a pool and a common dining room. Ample parking is available. The staff is super helpful and prompt. They do take care of you and help you organize your local tours. One thing I must appreciate is the clean linen, and clean towels. And the huge balcony from where you can see the sea (not very well articulated) and listen to the sound of the waves. It very peaceful to sit on the sofa in the balcony and while away your time and just do nothing. The sunset from this balcony - after the heat has gone down - is downright glorious. Fr the two nights I spent at the resort, I made sure I was there during sunset.

The hotel is quite run down which is sad cause the hotel complex therefore feels kind of deserted. Wifi is just available at the restaurant and in the pool area. Many dishes on the menu are not available

no USB charging ports, TV not working properly, beds are a little hard.

Great location, staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms accommodated a family of four and more. Prices are very reasonable. Rooms needs to be updated with the basic things, like a working TV, usb charging ports, some pest control (not the ones that will sting) I wished the restaurant would have ceiling fans, a buffet night? and maybe some AC maintenance. Other than that… great stay! my family really enjoyed it.

The showers lacked hot water and water pressure was sometimes low. The remote never had good batteries. The cable and wifi reception were spotty and frequently out. The ocean was dirty and not very inviting at this area but the pool was great.

The location and view from my balcony was fantastic! Getting to the city was a tricycle ride for less than a dollar/person away. The landscaping and plant growing at Vitton is beyond compare. The food at the cantina was delicious and inexpensive. The servers and staff were very happy, friendly and helpful.
