Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The smell in the water closet, ceiling didn't cleaned for a long time. No enough amount of toilet paper over there.
The boxes (small luggage locker for backpacks and bags) for your belongings by the beds. It was the first place, where I saw this. )

Located in a quiet area. The room and bed were comfortable and prepared. Lockers and key were provided. 30 minutes walk for both train station and old town centre. Light and socket by the bed.

I know this hostel isn't for every traveller as it is an hour walk from the centre and everything, but with it between the train station and the old town, I found it absolutely perfect. Plus the price for a private room can't be beat. I can't say anything bad about this place.
The hostel provided an excellent single room with a communal bathroom and kitchen on the top floor of a house. It was small, but very comfortable and in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were very cool, helpful, and friendly. I loved that it was away from everything and was in a residential neighbourhood.

The stuff was not particularly happy all the time. The woman from the reception was always kind and polite, but I didn't feel much arousal from checking in. I know that many people have their problems and tasks to deal with, but, as for the visitors, it would be better to be kinder and more thoughtful
Price and quality ratio. Great accommodation and available utensils for visitors. Clean showers and mirrors. This is also a quite place to stay in. So, if you prefer places away from the road, this one will suit your preferences perfeclty. It's located in a 5-min walk from a bus station from where you can travel to any part of the city. I also enjoyed the presence of a green area, which was in a 7-minute walk distance from "For rest Hostel"

The way to the hostel was a bit complicated for me to find.
The room was very well equipped, every bed had a power outlet, there was a desk and an access to the balcony.

The bed mattresses are totally worn out which, with coupling of the loud guests, made it very difficult to sleep. The downstairs toilet smelled terrible, maube because the tissues were being thrown into the garbage instead being flushed. As a hostel manager might I recommend putting up instruction signs for the toilet so they don't smell. Considering the investment made in renovations it would be worth it to invest in shower mats or floor towels to absorb the water outside or you will regret the damages later. Also helps the hygiene! Can make signs about quiet hours. People using their phones past midnight or at 5am in the morning is just rude, establish quiet hours with threat of a fine, you don't have to enforce it but if there are bad offenders it's worthwhile.
The staff are very friendly and even without epeaking the same language, everything is understandable with just a few words. Nice decor and furnishings for the most part, both kitchens are great!

Cleanliness could have been better. Some of the facilities were a little crowded like the washing machine in the kitchen.
Friendly staff. Cleanliness was okay but not great. One of the cheaper hostels in Lublin.

I didn't like the location. Not easy to reach by public transport. The bathroom was not working properly.
The price is low, so for budget travelers, the property is okay.

-the barely on heating -the always run out of hardly warm water for talking shower -high level of ammonia is guaranteed at the very dank toilet -kitchen is extremely filthy, the pots, kettle (non-electronic), the stoves are greased -washing machine is just a prop, as it is moldy and you can only dry your laundry outdoor
-the host would refill the toilet paper and kitchen towel -the host clean the shared toilets by mopping the floor once a day. -getting to know a lots Ukrainians

I liked everything
I liked everything was there from staff to rooms, workers were so hopeful and cheerful, they helped me with everything. The owner met me by himself, which was lovely, then the girl from the reception, whose name is Lina, helped me to check-in and i must admit she was really cute.
