Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Nothing!
This is a lovelu boutique hotel. Yes the room is small but actually they make very efficient use of the space. Fantastic staff and lovely breakfast. Very close to the main street.

I loved the location. It was quiet and away from the main road. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Julia and Ola who helped me out with my Polish!

The breakfast room was bit small and the internet was quite slow. Our deluxe rooms were fairly small. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom via a glass partition that could be closed with a curtain. A proper bathroom wall would be nice to have more privacy. Also, a small waste basket in the bedroom would have been useful.
We liked the quiet but central location close to the beach. The room had a nice balcony and we enjoyed sitting in the garden for breakfast. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. Housekeeping was very good. Breakfast consists of a small buffet section with possibility to order eggs, french toast, etc. Private parking available. There is no lift available.

Room was quite small

The bed was a bit cramped, th person on the leg didn’t have any space to walk round the bed, but we knew this before we went
The property was close to the centre but far enough away to be quiet

The floorspace around the bed is small for 2 travellers with luggage but we managed.
Great location, clean, quiet, very pleasant staff. The room was attractively decorated and the bed comfortable. It's only a short walk to the centre of Sopot on a pretty street with lovely trees.

I wish there was a bigger trash bin in the room because there was only a tiny one in the bathroom.
Perfect choice if you're planning to stay in Sopot. We were with a car so the free parking spot was a very big plus for us. Everything is very close - beach, places to eat, even other cities if you want to travel more. The room is small but it was completely enough for us as we came back just for rest. Bathroom has all needed toiletries (special mention for the shampoo that was actually good), a good shower, hair dryer. We got fresh towels daily. There were some cabinets for storage. The bed was very comfy. A big TV (that we didn't even have time to use haha). AC also great for summer heat. Balcony was a very nice addition to the room too. The staff - super friendly and helpful. We too the breakfast offer - simple but you could find most of the things you'd want for breakfast and you could also choose one hot meal.

Well designed accommodation. Floor heating and air con. Great breakfast. High quality of products. Definitely worth to buy breakfast. Fantastic location. 2 mins walk from "Monciak" Promenade. 4 mins to Sopot Molo. Parking included in price. Polite staff. Nice and clean.

Clear glass wall of toilet and shower was not our favourite feature. With an annoying curtain the only form of privacy. The room was compact.
Excellent location once we found it tucked behind other buildings fronting the street. Breakfast selection good and fresh each morning.
