Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There are construction sites next door that doesnt make it a "nice" area. Nonetheless the parking area deffo was secure and walking up to the main street there are shops and bars - so all good!
We deffo recommend this hotel for a single night or a longer stay at Sint Niklaas - we got offered a clean and spacious room with 2 single beds, free wifi and a private (paid) parking. 24/7 reception, friendly staff. Tea and coffee making facilities en suite made us feel very welcome!

Sparkling water 2 x 0,5 ltr free of charge. Coffee and tea free of charge. Comfortable temperature 22 'C during winter season.

building works started at 6am but that's not the hotels fault. it's a little far out of town, but was affordable. the shower was good, but loose on the wall, hot was cold, cold was hot.
affordable, comfortable clean it had a bar and restaurant if required.

· Dust mostly everywhere: in wardrobes, on table-lamp, on windowsills · Sound insulation is insufficient, you can hear literally everything from neighbouring rooms. · Too few sockets especially in bedroom. · A glass in bathroom is mmissing · Comfortable placement

The constructions works downastairs
The hotel is pleasant inside,we got a wonderful upgrade and stayed on the top floor at the biggest room in the hotel. Toiletries, coffees and teas, everything was in place. The view of the port was nice if you did not look down onto the construction works

Did not like the location, and very much noise from cobstruction
Very nice staff, but very expensive brekfast. Brekfast was 5/10. Not worth it at all.

Only shower with fixed upper shower handle, it’s super not comfortable. Pipes are in the wall next to bed, so when someone is flashing water loudly goes near guests head. No blackout curtains though room was on the sunny side. Rooms need to be updated.

Nice hotel. 15 min walk from central station. Perfekt for Open’er Festival visitors for example. Din not have breakfast so no clue about that.

The outside of the building. It looked a bit ominous driving in the gate the first night. very dark.

Room is not soundproof enough, (which is not a big deal for the great price) and had a view to the construction area (that is not a fault of the hotel). Despite the fact smoking is prohibited in the room, someone from previous guests left the cigarette burns on the chair's textile. I hope they were fined by the hotel administration, because room (and furniture) is really good.
Great location, close to the sea, interior is cozy and personnel is friendly! Well furnished room with water, tea/coffee/kettle. Free wi-fi was also available in our room, that is great as well!

No AC, no ventialtion. Windows was not tight, sound and air bloew in. The entrance is a scrap yard. Yes the rebuilding the hotel but it's not ready.
