Kitchen needs more equipment for the amount of guests. No bowels. Can be noisy from kitchen & people walking about & doors. Only 2 toilets & showers. Beds very bouncy. Strange smell. Musty bedding

Not too expensive place with a great location! There was free tea, and a small kitchen (btw. no sugar and coffee haha). As for me, it is not a place for long-term stays, but maybe it's just me. Nice staff!))

Unlike the description of the hostel, there is no 24hr reception so it's impossible to check in after midnight.

The hostel provides free locker for the guest. In general, the hostel is comfortable to stay overnight and it's cheap.

The bed had a very thin old mattress hence uncomfortable. There was lack of cooking facilities like stove making it untenable for a longer stay. laundry should also be included in the price and not charged separately.

The property is right at the centre of P street in close proximity to various restaurants and many more. The owner is nice and welcoming.

There was no plug sockets by the bed in the room I stayed in. I can’t comment for other rooms, however the room I stayed in did not have any near the bed. There were plug sockets in the room but it meant charging my phone on the other side of the room where I was unable to keep an eye on it.

Good showers, clean beds and excellent location. Kitchen was also well stocked and staff were very friendly.

It is on the famous pitrowska street and all party clubs and food joints are walking distance away. The host couple is nice and cooperative.They are super friendly and makes you feel like home.

The refrigerator was packed with food of people living there, so I had problems putting my water or food in the refrigerator. Should be cleared weekly in my opinion.

Mattresses and pillows could be better. More hangers are needed in the room. Two showers are definitely not enough for that amount of people. Showers' doors are broken. Towels are not included, for extra 5 zl. Was not really clear during reservation that 100% prepayment by bank transfer is required 5 days prior arrival. We found out about it only by writing to the property.

Location was very good, at the main street. Could be noisy, but we were okay with that. Room was generally clean. Guy who met us was very nice and welcoming. Easy self check-out. There are free tea and instant coffee in the kitchen. There is a washing machine.

I sent three messages via my booking and none of them was answered. That way, I couldn’t find out about parking what would have been helpful beforehand. Also, the patio was lid with many lights most of which were directly in front of my window. The curtains were insufficient, blinds weren’t installed. I was a bit unsatisfied (to say the least) that the owner (who didn’t do anything about this before) complained that I woke him up at 22:45 to find a solution for this. He didn’t - and I had to use a scarf to find some sleep at that time. In sum, I was happy I didn’t book another night and left the very next day.

Generally, the accommodation was OK.

The Manager of the Hostel could not have been kinder and more responsive to a problem I had. My mind was put at rest as soon as I spoke to this man. He was something of a Guardian Angel to everyone in the Hostel. My sincere Thanks. The Hostel is incredibly central to "the" best part of Lodz. Piotrkowska street is the tourist street, full of restaurants, pizza and burger places, gift shops and the bronze stars of Polish actors embedded in the pavement. Piotrkowska is not far from the Main Train/Bus Station in Lodz. At one part of the street, an easy 10 to 15 minute walk from the Hostel, is a major Tram Station to catching trams to other parts of the city, to "MANUFACTURA" and the beautiful architecture of the old factories that were typical of the textile industry of the 1800s made famous in Reymont's novel "The Promised Land - Ziemia obiecana". The Hostel was clean and the kitchen was clean, as was the shower and toilets.

Rooms are not locked with a key so anyone can enter any time. Two toilets for probably like 5 rooms with 6 beds each so for 30 people is not enough.

Not really secure. Lack of equipment: bedside lamp, soap in the shower, light that doesn't work very well in the bathroom.
