Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThe beds were uncomfortable, needs new mattresses as they are worn out.
Room for 4 is pretty spacious. The location is close to the train station and it’s 15 minute walk to the beach. Very nice receptionist lady. The bathroom is unisex but it’s individual shower and you can close the door. Free parking, dishes available in the kitchen, though didn’t use them. Pretty tidy.

Serbia1) The location itself is not the best one: the hostel is located basically on the parking lot with poor/no lighting at night, thus it could feel uncomfortable for single (female) travellers. 2) No towels and toiletries are provided (room with private bathroom). Although I do understand this is a hostel, at least towels should be provided considering the price (comparing to the average price of entire apartments in Gdynia). If not available, this should be clearly stated on Booking. 3) Dirty and poorly maintained shared kitchen: the hostel was almost empty (low season), but the kitchen was pretty dirty (walls, table, chairs, fridge...). It was quite surprising since the room, hostel´s entrance and hall were properly cleaned. 4) Uncomfortable and broken beds: it seems bad slats under the mattress were broken / require replacement.
Definitely good value for money for Gdynia. Convenient location (the train station can be reached on foot in about 15 min.). Spacious triple room. Friendly receptionist and smooth check-in.

Massive rooms and very good location (walking distance from main train station). We found it hard to find but once we did, everything went smooth. Very convenient self check in and out.

BelarusThere were no towels or smth in the room, also there were no shelves in the bathroom. Also, there was a creaky floor and bad soundproofing, we heard all neighbor's actions. But for a 1-night stay, it is a good place.
Stuff is polite and professional.

UkraineThe ceilings are high hence, the echo is rather loud. More than that, the railway is close to the building that is why you will hear the whistles of trains and feel a slight vibration of the floor. The soundproof is practically absent that is why you can participate in the of your neighbors’ conversations. The window was only a skylight one that is why I couldn’t enjoy any view. Moreover, there were no blinders, so I had to become an early bird.
I stayed in July 2022. In general, all was fine. The hostel is located conveniently: 15-minute walk from the railway station and from to the beach. There are some shops nearby; some of them work even on Sundays. The hostel is clean and the room I stayed in was spacious. The kitchen has everything necessary for cooking. Tea, coffee and sugar are available. You can use a hair-dryer, a washing machine and an iron.

LithuaniaThe room was with no windows, so it was very stiff inside. The hostel is very close to the railway so it's very noisy. Other guests were quite noisy too. I would't recommend to stay at this place.
There is free coffee or tea at the kitchen. It's quite clean. The bathroom was ok too.

PolandThere were EIGHT spiders in the bathroom. Some of them dead. Shower did not flush and sometimes neither did the toilet. There was no hand towel or kitchen towel. It was very loud in the night as trains are passing right by and there is a light right at the entrance door which blinds through the window during the night. For that amount of money (2700 PLN for 5 nights for 2 people) they could at least clean the bathroom or provide towels (which cost 10PLN to rent).
Close to city center and the main station
