Everything. Every detail, all of it it’s just how you want to define hospitality. It’s a true 5* without trying. I will remember that stay for a long time. If you want to treat yourself but you wonder if it’s worth it, it is!

Restaurant is small and service at breakfast was slow. The chair for a baby was really old, shaky and damaged.

Small swimming pool, not modern TV (screen mirroring with new phones not supported), instant (why??) coffee in the rooms, queues during breakfast.

I think the difference in precedent per night - very high costs some nights.

All -great promenade, distance to city center. Great chambermaids. Daniel in restaurant was super when my colleague was sick and missed breakfast. He sent a beautiful array to the room, so,she could also,stay in room and nibble on o.ffering s for lunch, supper, while I was gone.

The hotel has a dress code but nowhere in the hotel guide is it mentioned which code is it (casual, smart casual, etc.). Didn't really seem to be enforced so it wasn't a big deal.

Brilliant location just by the beach with a nice garden an private beach available. The staff was friendly and helpful, good breakfast.

I became ill during the stay and had the desire to delay the check-out because our flight was late in the night. That was possible but with extra charge. I had payed for four rooms for two nights so I would have expected more flexibility, especially when the hotel was not fully booked.

I have stayed in many hotels, but this one is definitely the best. Here you will have not only 5* service, but also a history and this is something worth experiencing. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom cosmetics, amazing beach with facilities. Perfect 10!

We would improve the bathroom amenities selection and overall look of the bathroom. The essentials were there.

It needs a major renovation, specially bathrooms and SPA. The stuff do their best but Sofitel needs to put some money on a table, this hotel has a potential, even Ritz Carlton or at least Kempinski

The bedroom could have more sockets to plug in telephones or computers without having to unplug something else.

We had a spacious and comfortable room with sea view. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of food, both savoury and sweet from the buffet. The staff was polite. As the hotel is right by the beach, guests can use the hotel’s sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s very conveniently located. The city centre with the pedestrian area is 5 minutes walk away with plenty of bars and restaurants. The Opera Lesna arena in the forest is about 25 minutes walk away. The railway station is about 10 minutes walk.

That we had to leave after only three nights. We could have comfortably stayed for a month or more.

The Grand is iconic for many reasons and I've wanted to stay there since I first visited Poland 30 years ago. Even with those unrealistically high expectations, staying there with my family for three nights exceeded all of them. The location is unmatched, the service excellent, the amenities and conveniences perfect, the history inimitable, the proximity and convenience to shopping and dining ideal. Very tough to match all this property has to offer.
