The furnishings and decor was pretty worn out and didn’t match the style of the building. The building has a lot of potential but it needs to be updated from time to time.

I liked the charm of an older more traditional property.

The bar wasn't open on our stay, nor was it the last time I visited in January. Not sure if it's permanently closed?

We love Wind Chimes and will keep coming back. It's low key, great for the budget, and has simple yet comfortable rooms. No frills, so keep expectations in check and have a great time! It's very close to some amazing places to eat and drink, and there are several little gas stations close by that sell wine, beer and snacks.

False advertising website shows images of sister hotel arcadia down the street, lack of trash bags for the room..housekeeping wasn't as such. all n all 6.5 less of a hotel more of a apt type and that was my room..my travel partner room was simple one bd no microwave or nothing.our kitchen sink stop up .

Nothing, fair condition. Only the room door knob was damaged and did not opened with the initial keys given to us. Had to go back and the employee came to open with a second set of keys.

room window didn’t open and no coffee is found at the hotel in the mornings , especially before the cafe across the street opens.

The hotel is an old mansion (it seems). it’s very well located near restaurants , stores , and a supermarket that serve the local community as well as one block from the terrific beach. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the facility is basic but excellent in most ways , and very clean. My only regret is that the window in the room didn’t open as I would have enjoyed getting fresh air in the room. the hotel also has ample outdoor sitting areas but no coffee is served in the hotel or found in the rooms , which is not terrible but coffee in the morning somewhere in the hotel - free or for purchase - would be a great help.

I missed a tray to place toiletries inside shower cabin...opposite to shower wall could work. TV reception was not good enough... maybe a fine tuning to cable system is needed or TV set Replacement ?

Most staff lacking hospitality. Rooms are tired and are in need of a renovation. Very little water pressure. No hair dryer or iron.

We loved the location which was nice and quiet. We had simple inexpensive food and high end expensive food all within a few blocks. A staff member Betsy was very nice, helpful, always smiling, very hospitable and great customer service. Wonderful small pool. Just 1 block from the beach. If you are fine with just the basic necessities then it's perfect for you.

hot water was “ iffy”, we arrived early, our room was ready, but they wanted to charge us $25 per hour to use early( had to wait until EXACTLY 4 pm to check in), that would have been $100 ! ha d to ask for hair dryer and to use hot water turn to “cold” wait 10 minutes!
