I can’t think of anything- unless it was the drifting cigar smoke.

This oceanfront property has great views, cooling winds, lots of sunshine, delicious restaurant food (the coconut French toast was the best French toast ever!!!) and is in the perfect location for what I needed. The concierge was very helpful in recommending and arranging tours. The staff at the pools and the restaurant were very kind, attentive and helpful. The wristband keys are wonderful!

The lack of character and cold/sterile/generic vibe of the rooms in the newer towers. A totally different hotel experience than the glamorous/luxurious and more unique vibe the historic building gives guests. Also, the food at the tequila and tacos restaurant was very bland. Room service food was good, but not the taco restaurant

Great location. Nice short walk to beach and short walk out the door to shops and restaurants. Nice large hot tub with water feature. I really disliked the two rooms we had for the second half of our stay. They were sterile and generic and had no character even though they were ocean view rooms. We stayed in the main historic tower the first half of our stay. They were so much more old world glamour feeling.

Never found available chaise lounges at pools. Pools are small. Food at tacos and tequila on site is not good, only rooms in the main historic building feel luxurious, the newer towers are generic and sterile

Our room (located in the central building) had several issues (electric lock battery died and one window would not shut). All issues were effectively and swiftly resolved by the staff. Agree with posts that certain renovations are needed.

Excellent facilities (two pools, big gym) and location (on the oceanfront - sunrise is stunning). Food was pricey but good quality! Greatest asset is the hotel staff. They are so friendly and welcoming. Always ready to assist.

We booked two de luxe suites with sea views for six nights. We had the booking.com confirmation in hand. When we arrived, the hotel's reservation system only had one de luxe suite with sea view available, the other one was not available. They gave us another de luxe suite but at a much higher price. They think booking.com made a mistake. As soon as I got to the room, I called Booking.com. They promised to investigate the matter. In the meantime, the hotel kindly gave us another de luxe suite with a sea view. When we left we paid the higher price for the second suite. Booking.com has not done anything to date, so we don't know if we were justified in paying more. In my opinion, this should have been clarified within 24 hours.

The hotel has a wonderful private beach. The staff are very nice and the rooms are very clean. There are excellent restaurants in the building. I can only say good things about them.

50% of the "private beach" is a big rock. Rest of the nice beach actually belongs to the hotel next door... Long waiting time at the front desk

The water in the bathroom got out of the shower and we had to dry it with towels in the bathroom area, the elevator area in the original part of the building smelled like humidity. The breakfast was pretty good I requested additional eggs and received 1 over easy egg.

The pool area was beautiful, the buffet seemed pretty delicious, the rooms where very comfortable.

One of the two elevators on the moon tower did not work The air condition if you leave the fan on never stops cooling regardless what temperature you put it.

Menus online are not up-to-date on pricing. For example, menu online from the hotel's webpage said a wine at STK was $100, but we were charged $140 for it. Restaurant didn't lowered the price, said they were sorry but the price stayed $140 as the menus online were not updated.

Quality of service, details, and attention from staff made it a luxurious experience.

Breakfast

Room we need to change after the first night because a strange noise i think was the A.C. . Pool Excellent Service and Atmosphere. Breakfast i think there are much more thinks to do we just had breakfast the first day and the rest of the days we went out for Breakfast we went to Paulina Escanes Rest and we have great Breakfast for the same price that the Hotel
