Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Puerto RicoIs a large property with few entertainment options. They have restaurants but don’t open daily and quality is just ok.
Rooms are spacious but beds are full size on most of the rooms. The bathroom is amazing.

United KingdomThis is definitely a 4 star hotel with 5 star prices. Adding taxes etc to you accommodation is +27%!!!! 16% Service charge on all bills. They then ask for more service charge on top with a minimum of 18%!! The many Corporate events seem to take over the whole hotel when they are on which ruins it for others ie branding everywhere and difficult to get reservations. High concrete balconies blocks stunning views. Food is very expensive for what you get.
All staff were really polite, friendly and professional. Stunning remote location. Lots of food and drink choices in many locations. Lots to do locally outside of the hotel.

United StatesBe ready to wake up near dawn to claim a lounge chair at the beach or pool. There simply weren't enough for all the guests, and by the time breakfast was finished atound 9:00, they were all marked as taken with towels, bags, books, glasses, etc. There were many people that just threw their clothes and towels on any available space near the pool or beach because the chairs were all taken. Making it a bit of a tripping hazard. Would have been nice to have additional chairs pulled out by staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and although it is a small detail, it would have been helpful to have hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Particularly when you are traveling with kids.
The resort was flanked by the beautiful ocean on one side and the rainforest mountains on the other. Absolutely beautiful views as you walked about, enjoyed the pool, or strolled on the beach. The rooms were kept very clean and comfortable. Our building was near to the lobby and pool area, which made it convenient to walk. But we saw staff readily driving carts to pick up people whose buildings may be further away. Some staff were more enthusiastic and engaging than others, but all were helpful. The food at the restaurants was absolutely delicious, but be prepared to pay resort prices. To eat locally, we needed to drive off the extensive resort campus, and there weren't many options in the surrounding area. The resort felt like a secluded tropical paradise, which was very private and safe. The swim up pool bar was great. They were food options available nearby, and the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Carlos, who would greet us whenever we passed by anywhere on the resort with a big smile and a friendly "Hi familia". While we were there, the island suffered a significant blackout, with most of the population without electricity for a couple of days. We wouldn't have known that was occurring as the resort was fully functional. We heard it from some people that had flown in and our family that reached out to us concerned. It was great that the resort wasn't affected and seemed to be well prepared.

United StatesHouse keeping could be better and more thorough. They should be more proactive instead of being called. A lot of bug bites, typical of tropical areas. maybe having more air conditioned areas or More of the bug repellent in the room or treating spots around the property.
Breakfast was outstanding. Excellent food options. Perfect value and excellent omelettes. Great choice of local bites too. Beautiful property, amazing pools, excellent tennis and pickleball ball options. Staff at pool bars and facilities are very helpful and attentive.

United StatesThe location is super far from everything. It takes 10 minutes to just get off the grounds and out to the main road. We booked a room w/a balcony or patio and we got a room with just a window (manager did give us a small refund for the price difference). Room had a musty/old/mildew smell to it. Restaurants are very expensive and 16% gratuity is automatically added.
The grounds were beautiful. Food in the restaurants were very tasty. Front desk staff was friendly and the manager helped resolve an issue for us very quickly.

United StatesThe restaurants were delicious, however the service at some was a bit slow. The prices were a little steep as well, though we chalked that up to hotel markup.
Our stay was wonderful, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort itself was beautiful, the grounds were well kept, the rooms were clean and recently updated, and the pools were well maintained. There were plenty of great meal options, even during the off season having a few spots closed.

United StatesMy only complaint about the property is that the food selection and quality were not up to par with the rest of the resort. Most of the restaurants on site had only a few items to choose from, very few vegetarian choices, and the food, although nice portions, was Equivalent to what you would get on an airline. They really need to do better in this one area.
The location and facilities were wonderful. We came with a five-year-old and a two-year-old. They provided many activities for them to do, including the transportation trolleys, which were a favorite of the kids.

United StatesThe cost was extremely high with the lack of entertainment available, a resort without shuttle transportation (taxi's are pricey for short distance travel) to the airport or shopping nearby, available resort transportation lessened on weekends, limited food selections/ availability (out of stock), food was served warm and/or overcooked, and the drinks were diluted. The ocean view was obstructed by tall plants (limited view). The photo of the balcony didn't line up with the room assigned. The internet connection was poor. The room was beautiful. However, the floor had cracked tiles, and the shower water pressure was not great. This was an overpriced cashless resort with unexpected added costs and i hope the total adds to what i paid..
Most staff members were kind and helpful.

Puerto RicoThe bed was hard, and the pillows were too loompy, causing pain in the neck. We couldn't sleep well. There were not enough trolleys, and when we call them for them to pick up us they didn't show up. In the gym there were 4 employees idly standing in the way of the entrance, watching the exercisers and joking. All the employees who were working housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, etc. were on their cell phones all the time.
The bathroom was expectacular. The room was beautiful. The pool was cool, and the road was beautiful.

United StatesThe resort is beautiful and our rooms were comfortable and clean. We liked the location because it was near El Junque National Forest but still fairly close to the airport and Old San Juan. We enjoyed exploring the small nearby towns but it's easy to stay at the resort too. I enjoyed walking along the beach in the mornings and the choice of pools in the afternoons. On-site restaurants were expensive but good. We used the refrigerator for snacks that we bought from the nearby grocery store.
