There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Check-in/out was seamless. The property was clean as was the room and restroom/shower area. The room was large and had great lighting. AC worked because PR is hotttttt!!! The lockers were large. Bed was comfy. Security on site. There was a market across the street, a food truck with good food next door and the surrounding area felt safe for a solo traveler. This was my first time staying at a hostel and I'm happy that I had a great experience.

The area around the hostel was a little sketchy so just be aware if you are walking around alone at night.

I had a great experience at Juliette! The queen beds for a hostel were super comfy and I slept great. In my experience, it was also not really a party hostel and it was pretty quiet, which was good for getting a good night's sleep. The area around the hostel was a little sketchy so just be aware if you are walking around alone at night. It was very close to Old San Juan which was super convenient. The breakfast cafe attached to it was also great, I would recommend checking that out even though it is not the same business.

Price was just a little high for a hostel as it was not in the immediate vicinity of a lot of other hotels/restaurants or directly on the beach. This was not a huge issue though and would not stop me from booking here again!

The location, easy check-in, and facilities were awesome! Would definitely recommend! Two of us had the entire room to ourselves and had a great stay! Very easy and fast communication with the staff via WhatsApp and they saw to any of our needs immediately. The only downside was the price was just a little high but I would definitely stay here again and no matter what the pictures look like on the outside, it’s a gorgeous little place and I would tell any friends and family to stay here. Also the rooms are very quiet no matter what time you want to sleep so we slept well every night! 10 minute walk to Escambron beach which we did every day, and easy 10 min Uber ride to old San Juan or the Santurce area. Not too much in the immediate area within walking distance but Uber was easy and cheap so this was not a problem for us!

The bathrooms need more attention through the day. The climate in the room was extremely cold several nights but they adjusted the temp for us.

The customer service was amazing. I was hesitant to keep my booking due to the old Google images of the front of the property and the neighborhood, but an associate kindly showed me via video the updated conditions. The lobby was clean and secured. Wasn’t too far from Old San Juan.

That it wasn’t directly in the heart of old San Juan but required 20 min walk. Otherwise it was perfect.

Great value, great stay. Clean, a/c, good Wi-Fi, new and modern looking. Safe. Perfect. Mart located across the building. Free tea. Murals nearby.

The bathrooms were hot and muggy and the shower pressure was low. We had an incident with a guest that came in the middle of the night, made a ton of noise, turned on lights and was extremely rude. Staff addressed it the next day, but it still made me uncomfortable and left me with a sour taste in my mouth. San Juan is extremely expensive, so this is all I could afford. It's just a gamble with hostel dorm rooms, as you never know who you are going to get. Still rated the hostel a 10, because it's not their fault for the behavior of other guests.

The location was great. I was in town for a conference, and it was within walking distance to the conference and to Old San Juan. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe in the area. I appreciated the included tea station and cold water filter in the lobby. I liked that there was a coworking space nearby that I could use. I didn't have time to visit it, but I still appreciated the option. The rooms had A/C which was much appreciated and the beds were large, almost queen size.

We stayed here for a night and needed parking and a place close to the Old Town. I loved this hostel! The staff was very helpful and nice, gave us good advice and catered to all our needs. The facilities are clean and new. I loved the queen beds! Lockers provided, too. Parking was close by and safe. 10/10

This stay was excellent on all accounts. The staff were amazing, the place was comfortable and clean, there are extra services like a co-working space, coffee and tea corner. They let me leave my things after checking out. I was always greeted with a smile.

I loved having the large queen size beds in the dorms. The hostel was in a good location close to Old San Juan. it was very clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the free co-working space, the wifi was very good.

No kitchen or common dining area in the building but there is a coworking space for morning coffee or work stuff in the next building over which is owned by the hostel as well.

Great hostel! Modern and clean. Staff are very nice. Rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. The full bed, pillows and sheets are clean and so comfortable. The lockers are spacious. There's a bar across the street but it usually pipes down around 11pm. It's a quick Uber to Old SJ or a 20min walk.

They don't have kitchen facilities and the common area is minimal. Basically, you can only sleep there. There wasn't a plug next to my bed and when I asked how I could charge my phone, They offered to leave it at reception. There was three other free bed in the room, they could just give another one. But not a big deal

They have the most comfortable beds I have ever seen in a hostel! It was super clean and the staff was friendly. Good location within walking distance from Old San Juan.

The staff that works there are incredibly friendly and helpful, they make this place 10x better alone. I love that this hostel offers double beds instead of singles. The facilities were clean. The Co-Working area is a nice bonus. The building is also very secure, which is nice. They prioritize the safety of the girls staying there

There should have been a lock/ code to the bedroom. I think that was a major security flaw not to have a security code to enter the bedroom/sleeping area.

Since I had the room all to myself several nights, I would have appreciated if I could have controlled the air condition myself (it was very cold in the room some of the nights).

I stayed at Juliette Hostel for five days when being in town for a conference and was really happy with my experience. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, and I appreciated the fact that the reception is open 24/7. The location was good, just a short walk away from Old San Juan. I felt safe in the neighbourhood. Both the room and the shared bathroom facilities were clean, and I was very happy for the lockers in the room. I would strongly recommend Juliette Hostel to other solo-travelling women!
