Some interior issues: Stairwell from ground level to first floor needs railings that go all the way up -- it's a safety problem. Hot water was in short supply in the mornings. No outdoor lighting on one 2nd floor wing is also a safety issue. I could not reach staff with posted phone numbers.

Location was very convenient to UPR, where I was participating in a workshop. Friendly, helpful staff. The surrounding neighborhood has seen better days but is trying to come back. During the day it has a lot of charm and local flavor. Some good restaurants and cafes. This isn't fancy, at-the-beach San Juan, but rather a genuine local neighborhood.

Distance from the old town and lack of an elevator, which in case of all rooms not located at the base floor may be the case when You have to carry Your luggage on the narrow stairs.

Clean room and beds, nice building and design. It was quiet. Decent breakfast with a reasonable choice of food. Nice and helpful staff.

The bed was really uncomfortable.

There was a microwave, desk, chair, mini fridge & private bathroom. The shower was great and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome.

Stone floors in hall way, metal glass doors and metal keys, all amplify noise. People tried to be quiet but these things make it difficult

The heat in the shower isn't consistent (hot in early AM and not hot enough later). The lights outside for our room we got a glow from because of the frosted glass.

The bed was firm and comfortable. Mostly quiet neighborhood. Clean and secure facilities. Staff was attentive and helpful. One even brought up some waters when we got in very late from our flight and were desperate for water.

The location is ghetto and unsafe. Literally, drug addicts walking by. The twin bed rooms are small and uncomfortable 😐 There was a homeless looking man allowed to rent a room there. That can be off-putting for guests. And lastly, the property has bed bugs. I took a photo of two before I left. I saw the mattresses were covered with encasememts to either hide the problem or prevent it from spreading. However, the encasement on my bed had a hole in it, and thus, the bed bugs were able to escape.

The staff were amazing! Friendly, kind and super helpful! Outside sitting spaces were nice.

The accommodations were top notch. The rooms were well kept and clean, the decor from the entrance of the hotel to the rooms were well thought out and done and the value for money, I really couldn't ask for more. Thank you hotel nest for the hospitality we received. A+

I had called ahead of time to state I was going to be arriving in the morning of co to please hold my room and when I arrived in the morning to finally get some sleep they were sold out had given away my room and fully charged me as no show

Regarding the beds, the plastic that the mattresses have made us uncomfortable, it gave us heat. We recommend that you remove those plastics.

The service of the staff was excellent and everything was very clean.
