Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe "continental breakfast" was basic - literally just toast and maybe pound cake if you got their early enough. That along with coffee, tea and juices was OK as we were not there for a big breakfast. The unit is more of an eco-resort with small kitchenette and no TV. Again, we really only slept in the room, so the minimal appointments were not an issue for me and my wife, but our son would have liked a TV.
The unit was comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a large porch that was handy for drying our bathing suits and towels. We weren't there long enough to really utilize the porch, but it was nice. The unit itself was comfortable and clean. The hotel has a nice, covered lounge area and pool. And they offer jeep rentals on the premises (Maritza's), but I recommend booking before you go during heavy travel periods. The Hotel is located in the middle of the island central to all the towns and beaches along the coastline. The views from the porch and breakfast area of the surrounding mountains and ocean were nice.

Puerto RicoThe continental breakfast should have some fruit options to give it a better option for those who don’t eat bread etc. The pool was nice but needs cleaning around them edges inside the water. Also one morning there was remodeling being done on the second floor and the drilling at 7:30 am woke us up. I understand it may be temporary. Just some things to consider.
Continental breakfast was fine, nothing extraordinary. Rooms were excellent and friendly staff. The pool setting was very nice.

United StatesNo TV set in the room. No blender in the kitchen. We stayed 2 days 2 night. Housekeeping left fresh towels and spread blankets on our beds, but did not clean the room. Even though we pushed the button in the room that asks for a specific service. We had out dirty dishes in the room, little coffee spilled on the counter, crumbs on the floor, etc. Would be nice if the room had been cleaned. Almost all beach towels had rust stains on them. There is little breakfast that’s included: just coffee, orange juice and toast. The first day of our stay they had it, the 2nd they did not.
Gorgeous hotel! Not big, feels very cozy and charming. The pool is not big, but very nice! The room had beautiful oversized artwork and nice decor. The kitchen was clean and had nice dishes and espresso machine!

United StatesThe property is being renovated. Around the facility was a little rough. Brush to one side and a car rental company and repair shop on the other. Neither bothered us. They did serve juice, coffee and toast for breakfast but our coffee was cold. They should invest in a new pot. It's a quiet town and quiet location if you were looking for excitement.
We were pleased with our stay at Old Crow. It is centrally located on the island, making it easy to explore the 2 towns and many beaches. Our room was clean and comfortable. We booked the ocean view (actually an ocean peak) which had 2 access points - from the balcony or the suite door. It had a full kitchenette which we should have used more. Pool was comfortable. Parking easy. Internet worked fine. Nice shower. Note to the island: rent a car. Not a golf cart. You need it to get around efficiently - not 25 mph.

United StatesThe breakfast was just toast and bagels. If you're expecting more, don't. Also the wifi in the rooms is pretty spotty. In the main airea it's lightning fast though.
This is a very high end feeling hotel with a minimal cost compared to other places on the island, you'd be hard pressed to find something better.

United StatesPots and pans and mugs in my room have not been used in a while and insects/bugs stuck to it. The hotel should make sure to clean all. Also the kitchenette sink gets clogged, even if nothing inside. The toilet is right next to the standing shower which only has a half door (can’t understand the logic) and so the floors by the toilet get wet wet wet… please install a full shower door.
Wonderful place for families, with a kid friendly pool, comfortable room sizes. Downsides: No hair dryer, no microwave, no TV. If the hotel adde these, it would be superb.

United StatesNo tv. It’s nice to unwind at the end of the day of sightseeing. The window in the bathroom does not provide privacy to the outside space. This is not ideal w fam or even friends staying together. You have two awesome bathrooms but only 1 comfy bed. The foldout was not great.
Staff was amazing. The view was nice. You can rent your car there unfortunately we didn’t know that.

Puerto RicoNo TV, although we didn't really had much time for it with everything that Vieques offers. The bathroom shower floor tile is not the best for it, it's very slippery.
Beautiful views, property is well integrated to the lush greenery, beautiful room decor, attentive staff, great location, felt very safe.

Puerto RicoI know they are still on construction, will come back when restaurant and pool bar are completed. A microwave in the room could help a lot with easy things to eat.
This weekend I celebrated my birthday in Vieques with my boyfriend, and the Old Crow Hotel was just what we wanted. A perfect combination of luxury, comfort, privacy, beautiful views, a heated pool, and room facilities to prepare your own meals if you wanted it. Still, ther were kind enough to share a list of suggestions for nearby places to eat, shop, taxis, car rentals and excursions. We put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and although they respected it at all times, they texted us to see if we needed towels or anything else. The self check-out process is perfect. They exceeded our expectations.

CanadaLocation, you need a car to stay here. There are local taxis but the prices can range from $10-$20 usd for a 5 min ride. A lot of drivers wouldn’t pick up the phone, food delivery is very limited
