Puerto RicoNothing! We knew that your facility was still being renovated, so we knew what to expect.
We have been coming to island for 6 years and have always rented a house. We stayed at your resort for 2 nights and then left to check in to our rental. We are so sorry we left!! The Kitchenette in our room provided just what we needed and the bed was out of this world! Something that can be hard to find on the island. The staff, especially the head facility man Sheldon (not sure name is correct) and check in staff, Almand (sp?) was so friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, in the middle of both Isabelle and Esperanza, as we visit both sides often. Because our stay was so perfect (and we can’t until the bar and grill is complete), we have officially decided that when we come back next year, we are going to spend our full 10 days at your hotel. No more house rentals for us!! Thank you again. You really kicked off our vacation in the best way possible.

United StatesOn the day of arrival, party of 4 (with 2 rooms) was not able to get to the property until about 9 pm. We let the hotel know this ahead of time and were sent an email with incomplete self checkin info that did NOT include our room number of key lock codes. I wrote a note and repeatedly called to get this information but received no response. Upon arrival at the property, there were 2 other couples who had also not received their room information. No employee was around or available to contact. After over an hour of waiting around outside getting bit by mosquitoes, one couple had to cancel their evening excursion and that vendor was able to contact Old Crow’s sister hotel, Blue Horizon, and Dara was able to give us the information we needed to get into our rooms. Up until then, we were all scrambling to find alternate accommodations. Needless to say, this was a horrible introduction to this hotel. And worse, no one (other than the construction manager, Sheldon) seemed to care that this was our experience. Our expectation is to minimally be reimbursed for the first night stay, but there is no indication that will happen. Sheldon was also the one to notify us that the hotel was in the midst of a “soft opening”. This information would have been nice to know BEFORE booking, as it meant that the property was loud with construction noises and many amenities were lacking. Tuesday morning we woke before 7am to banging and power equipment. We came back mid-day to take naps and couldn’t due to banging and construction below and next to our rooms. We had to leave the property to get some peace and quiet. Upon returning at 7 pm, the noise was still there. We asked for maid service only one day of our stay. They removed our old towels, but never replaced the hand towels and wash clothes. It took a while to hunt someone down to replace those. Lastly, on the day we’re leaving to catch the ferry back to the mainland… there was a continental breakfast being served.
The property has potential to be really good….in about a year. What is currently complete has the feel of a boutique resort. The location is nice in that it is in the center of the island and puts you close to anything you might want to visit as long as you have a car.

United StatesReceptionist was super rude- kept saying she would check on stuff for us and then never followed through. The restaurant was closed so there was no food or drinks, nothing walking distance either. Construction workers started RIGHT outside our room at 8am and were so loud. This place is under construction and should NOT be open. DO NOT STAY HERE

I love everything about this property from the moment I drove down the driveway. The lighting was amazing, the design was great & it just calls you in. The views are amazing! I have so many great things to say about this place. I love the spaces they have. It had fast internet & a space I could work outside my room & the energy of the whole property was spectacular. I didn’t want to leave. I am coming back & bringing my kids cause it is such a great family friendly resort & that is not always the case. And the pool is great, the deck, love it all. They have great kitchens so I can stay for 2 weeks & work from here, maybe a month or two. I am coming back soon. Thank you so much!

United StatesBeware! Do not stay at this hotel! It is still under construction with no on-site staff. it has no restaurant and no facilities operational which it says it has on its website. It took an hour for to show up and let us into our room, had no coffee maker, no teapot, and no options for food. The local restaurants that the hotel claims will deliver food never answered their phone. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and not convenient to anything. The price is outrageous for something of Little to no value. do yourself a favor and stay somewhere near the towns.

United StatesThis Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The pool and outside is not pictured on website but it's stunning. Very relaxing Vibes. There are no TVs because they want you to get out and enjoy the island which I love the concept. We had a king suite with garden view which you could also see the ocean in the distance. Had a private patio with seating and down the steps to the pool. There is also a kitchenette in your room so bring food and snacks. They are still under construction and will be open a bar and restaurant soon. There were not many people there during our stay, which was great because it felt like we had everything to ourselves. My only regret is not staying longer!! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend renting a car while on the island
