“It is an old estate perfectly renovated inside with a mix of modern equipment/furniture and the traditional pieces. The service was impeccable - we’ve heard the story of the winery, learned about the super technological production process and tasted the wines. The nature is gorgeous, we’ve done an energizing walk along Lima river, whose current sounds loud and has rapids. I would be happy to come visit this place again.”
“Beautiful, peaceful property. The grounds are lush, pool area is so peaceful and gorgeous, and our room was spacious and very well appointed. The staff (Marianna and Hugo) were very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our needs.
A lovely breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket each morning to your room. You choose from a list including cheese, meat, pastries, juice/milk, fruit, yogurt, homemade cake, etc. It was yummy!
One of the oldest towns in Portugal, Ponte de Lima, is less than a 15 minute drive away. We had a great time visiting this lovely, quaint, historical town.
Marianna also arranged a kayaking excursion for us on the Lima River. We had a blast and ended up being the only ones on it other than our guide!”
