We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

PortugalThere was a noisy group in our floor, but I guess there’s no much to do about that :)
We staid in a room with 4 beds, which is an excellent choice for a group. There were 2 wc in our floor and that was great. Both the room and the wc were clean and the beds were comfortable enough. We had some difficulties with the self check in, but we called and the staff helped us right away. The location is also good and the parking is free in that street. Good choice and great value for a simple stay!

Portugalbeds were not very comfy, mattresses felt thin, only one pillow per bed so if you need more than that bring your own. lock on the bathroom door did not work, thankfully bathroom door was very stiff and very loud so it was easy to know when someone was in the bathroom, but it did not feel safe as female travellers in mixed-sex accommodation
great location, only a short walk from the metro station and a bus stop right outside the door but still in a fairly quiet part of the city. Is great as a home base to get some sleep, and a quick shower before a busy day out. my friend met the cleaner briefly who she mentioned was very friendly. check-in any time- your sent a code for the front door and a room number keys for the room are in the door of each room (there is only one key per room though so keep that in mind.) making it nice and quick to get settled and giving flexibility- plus if your not a people person minimal interaction between staff and guests

PortugalI DIDN'T SLEEP ONE MINUTE THE ENTIRE NIGHT. 44 euros for a horrible mattress, smelly pillows, no tv in bedroom, broken common area tv (didnt even turn on), creaky as hell bathroom door would startle you every time someone went in, and then the worst... no blackout (i need complete black to sleep, and you could totally hear the guy next door snoring, then they woke up at 6 and started making so much noise, talking loudly the entire time, no breaks, gpimg in and out of the room like 40 times, for almost 2 hours before leaving... also young spanish tourists on the floor above ours talking and laughing hysterically till 3am at least. So basically you fing absolutely no value for your money, because all these guys need to do is provide you a peaceful night's sleep, which they obviously can't do.
NO positives except many fridges...

Very clean accommodation with a lovely terrace. Well-equipped kitchen and easy access thanks to self check-in.

United StatesI don’t know if the website mistranslated, but I read it had two beds, instead it was one big bed. That’s not 2 single beds, that’s a twin bed. The picture on the website detailing the beds was different than reality. I thought the picture was an example of how the rooms look, it was not. The moment we entered we were greeted with a smell of humidity, mold. When we entered our own room there was a terrible unidentifiable stench. It smelled like someone passed away in there. The smell was so strong it would not leave. We tried opening the windows we even bought things like spray deodorants for rooms to try to fix it. It did not work. The floor was falling apart. The walls were so thin we could hear everything. The bathroom looked dirty. I saw roaches in there. I didn’t dare to enter the shower because it looks like I would get some kind of infection just being in there. The upstairs bathroom was much better, but the lock didn’t work well. The fridges in the kitchen looked like no one ever bothered cleaning them or throwing the old food out. Generally the place was dirty. The light in the bathroom did not work. There was no one to talk to, to fix these issues. When I finally found someone that worked there I asked them about these things, she did absolutely nothing about it. She said she knew about the light. So I asked her will you do anything about it anytime soon? She said nothing. Our entire stay I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror. Terrible experience. It’s clear the owners do not care at all. I would add that I am a seasoned traveller who has stayed in all sorts of places, this was especially terrible. Overpriced, neglected, infested, dirty, stinky.
Nothing, terrible experience staying there. I wouldn’t wish it to my worse enemy. The best part was leaving.
