The only downside I would mention is that the bed, while very comfortable, creaked a lot, which kept waking me up. Additionally, noise from outside the room, like cooking in the kitchen or footsteps in the hallway, could be heard quite clearly. This might bother light sleepers or those sensitive to such things.

The host was incredibly kind! On the very same day we arrived, she offered to do our laundry free of charge, which was such a lovely gesture. The surroundings were beautiful, located in a small town with stunning views. There was plenty of parking available in front of the house. My partner and I had a small room with a balcony, which we really liked. The Wi-Fi connection was also surprisingly good, which was a nice bonus during our stay.

There is no shade or sunshade on the balcony which makes it impossible to use when the sun is shining. The open plan kitchen and tv lounge is not a good idea as the noise of people cooking and talking spoils the tv programmes.

Great view and awesome place to rest. This part of Madeira is much more greener than anywhere else. The host is very helpful and friendly!! Helped us to rent a car for a good price and offered us pick up/drop off from airport with reasonable price.

The house is marvelous!!!! It’s such a nice villa with modern facilities and stunning view! The host offered us coffee and biscuits upon our arrival. Although she can’t speak English or Deutsch but we can still communicate by google translate. I don’t find it’s a problem at all since she’s super sweet regardless.

Nothing, I was overly satisfied. The accommodation met my needs.

I have booked Bella Vista for my short Madeira photography trip. It is located in calm village of Sao Jorge, not far from the highway. You can reach all of the island in about 40 minutes. My room was comfortable, there are two shared bathrooms, one of which equipped with shower/bath tub. Sharing was not a problem. There is also shared kitchen/dining area and living room with sofa and TV. Fridge and basic cooking utensils are provided.

It isnt a bustling city. It is a very beautiful and peaceful town, it is really quiet. The lady boss was great. She treated us with coffee and even baked bread. We stayed there 6 nights and i wouldnt change anything. Mind that there might be other people to share a bathroom with.

This is for sure the best accommodation we’ve ever had on booking. For us it’s one of the best in the whole Madeira, not only because of a nice, well equipped house, but also because of the warm-hearted and great owner, who makes you feel like home. She is very helpful and kind and we really enjoyed our stay thanks to her. The house is very clean and comfortable, has everything you may need: microwave, oven, convenient bathrooms, big kitchen, huge lounge/TV area. It’s located in São Jorge in a nice picturesque area, you can see the ocean from the lounge room. We also had a very nice view on the mountains from our terrace. The house is very close to the bus station, so getting there from Funchal was very easy (we just took the bus 103). There are some Miradouros nearby, also a Levada do Rei is in a very close proximity. Parking a car is very convenient, there is enough space, the parking is free. Wifi was also working fine, good for remote work. If we ever come back, we will choose this accommodation again for sure. Wish we could stay longer. Only thing that I didn't like was the mold in the bathroom and living room all over. I've started to clean it up in the first night and let her know about the situation. She took over in the next day and cleaned most of the mold.

The lady of the house was very, very kind and helpful. She always asked us what can she do for us. She helped with everything we asked for. The location was perfect, it was quiet and the kitchen was very well rounded with a lot of tools/ equipments.
