Problems with wifi connection off and on throughout stay. But hey, forced us all to concentrate on more important things in life!

Almost everything. The unit is well-located, very comfortable, clean well-appointed & maintained. A little unfortunate confusion at check-in communication through Booking.com but Ana & Carmen were very responsive, helpful & easy to work with overall.

The location of this lovely apartment is excellent and very convenient for exploring Aveiro on foot. Parking across the canal was close, free and easy. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of clothes storage. Air conditioning is a big plus, and the views from the windows are wonderful. The well equipped kitchen was great for our meals. The host left treats for us in the fridge which is very kind. Carmen is lovely and it was nice (and unusual) to have the apartment cleaned daily. We enjoyed the apartment and Aveiro very much and would happily return.

Second bed mattress collapsed on one side due to futon slats disengaging. The canal was noisy with passing boats.

It will be more perfect if a lift is available in the building as it is a challenge for us to carry the heavy luggages upstairs.

The host is very nice and the property is located in a perfect location. Can reach a free parking area in a few minutes and easily walk to the major attractions of the city.

The location was excellent, close to all activites, restaurants and sight seeing. Our host Ana was kind, informative and helpful, and our house-keeper Carmen was so friendly, and just lovely with a beautiful smile :)

People with mobility issues might have a little difficulty with the stairs inside the apartment.

The apartment is very well located in the centre of Aveiro, the view for the canal can be enjoyed from the living room and from one of the bedrooms. Very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Would have been worth it to stay for a little longer.

The oars on the bed as a headboard looked fantastic but were rather impractical! Not the hosts fault but construction work in the vicinity going on at the time of our stay caused us a few issues.

Dina the host was superb, the location of the apartment is fantastic being just in front of the canal and around the corner from lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable. Free parking is available on the opposite side of the canal and dogs are accepted for a small charge.

The only thing that marred our stay was there was a major road around 150-200 metres in front of the apartment, It looked quite a recent addition and before it was there you could have seen the lagoon, but having said that with the windows closed you couldn't hear it at all, also I wouldn't let it stop you booking for one or two nights here as everything else was great 😁👍🏻

We liked just about everything about our stay, Dina was very accommodating, and met us to show us around, the place itself was spotless with all the equipment you may need, the location was great with just a 5 minute walk to the old part of town with its bars and restaurants, the gondolas and markets.

Everything was perfect!!! Great flat, beautifully decorated. Kitchen very well equipped, great bathroom and super comfortable mattress. Ms Dina is a great hostess!!! Attended all our requests with great care. Very professional and attentive. Really appreciated all her help, preparing a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. A huge thank you to her. ♡ Wish we could have stayed longer. Totally recomend this place!!!

Adorable feel of a seaside cottage:) Accommodations were comfortable and facilities were updated in a modern style with all the conveniences you could want. Location was outstanding with a view of the canal as the gondolas passed by. Couldn’t have hoped for a better place!!

This apartment is a gem. Beautifully decorated, lots of character and charm. Very friendly host. Very close to city center. Parking across the canal, not too far. Too bad we stayed only for one night.

Not much, second bedroom can do with an aircon unit.

Well appointed apartment close to the historic old town, a lot of attention to detail and a very comfortable stay. Apartment roomy and nice, perfect for a family. The shower worked well and second guest WC a bonus. The kitchen/dining area perfect for self catering and fun with friends. Find a lot of surprises, free wine and Ovos moles on the house.

Very nice two level home beautifully decorated. We only stayed one night and wished to stay here longer. You meet the host in person. That’s nice. There may be 250euro deposit which may not be convenient if you are not EU resident. If you can use this amount of cash afterwards, it will be fine.

We ran into trouble with the TV because the former tenant had unplugged a cable. They kept telling us to just turn it on and we would be fine. I guess they thought we believed we had a problem BEFORE WE TURNED IT ON. It took them about 22 hours to come back to fix it. It worked fine for a short while. We ran into a similar problem later. Our fellow traveler did also. They need instructions on how to work the TV and what to do if you start getting error messages or can't get the TV back from wherever it ends up. There are no written instructions on anything. Had they just turned on the TV themselves before re-renting, they would have found the issue instead of us. Upon our departure, the agent returned a little late. She wasn't concerned because she knew we didn't need much time at the train station to get to our train. She was right. We had enough time to catch our train, but we prefer extra time in case we had car trouble or another issue. We were anxious during this waiting period. (We knew she also needed time to preview the property before returning our damage deposit). When it came time to return our damage deposits, her boss, the owner, wanted to speak with me. She started by asking how we enjoyed our stay. Something felt "off." She then started telling me that she doesn't think of the apartment as a business. It's not about the money." She said she had written to me to let us know the 2 bedroom price was for ONE PERSON!!! I am a VERY savvy and avid traveler. This NEVER happened before. It should be built into the booking.com site. I NEVER got this email. She said I owed 8 euros per night or 16 euros total....and she asked me to THINK ABOUT IT. I politely hung up (in shock) and she IMMEDIATELY called back to tell her agent to deduct the 16 euros from our damage deposit. I have NEVER had anyone do this. It was ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 apartments we rented. There are just some minor details to help enjoy it more. We thought the best way to town was to turn left when you exit. We don't recall every being told the shorter way is to turn right. There's construction now to your left. The park is being turned into a parking lot. If you go down two blocks to your right (as you exit), turn right again at the canal and there are multiple restaurants and the famous "Fish Market" right in front of you. If you turn left just beyond the Fish Market, there are mulltple other restaurants at the square at the end. (The 1st one on the left in this 2nd square was recommended...can't recall the name but it was always serving just cold food when we got there). We wasted a lot of time going the other way. It would be helpful to share this info. We had a party of 3 and our friend took the other Saber one bedroom, right across the hall from us. That was a HUGE bonus. Both apartments are adorable. Both apartments were only one flight up. There is a view of the canal if you peek out the living room or canal bedroom windows. The balcony is in the REAR and faced A/C units and other buildings. That was off the back bedroom. We liked the bathroom. All was supplied very well. The gal who greeted us was also really nice and helpful about the apartment. The apartment has A/C, another huge bonus. Another plus was the nice agent only took 150 euros instead of $200 per apartment for a damage deposit. It was hard on us because we didn't have a lot of euros to spare, but we just charged purchases.
