I traveled during low season, so there were just a few people, plenty of space and amazing cleanness. The position was great for those who have a car: close to the city center, but so easy to park (for free). Amazing view of the Ocean from the terrace. The staff was available and lovely. Really nice breakfast. The room super clean, cozy and warm, with A/C or heating.

The seaside walk, close enough to central town and a very nice group of people was attracted to this place. The staff person was professional and helpful. Easy access via the code and entry. We were able to leave our two pieces of luggage at facility a bit before check-in. That was so helpful.

Often ran out of breakfast things if you don’t go close to when it first begins, weird system for the AC & literally every night someone whatsapped to ask them to change it

The door didn’t open because the code was not working well. Also, free bed system doesn’t work very well, since one day I got to the hostel and one personal was in my bed…

Not the fault of the place, just make sure to have an agreement between roomates on the AC during the night, in my case someone simply kept the remote 😞

Friendly staff, not on-site 24/7, but reachable and very helpful. The common space an terrace are nice and give some socialising opportunities. Overall good atmosphere and clean with enough bathroom options. Not right in the town center but a pleasant walk along the water and the marina to town. 15min by taxi from the airport. Yes, there is also a major road but for that price, the terrace with seaview and pool is more than I asked.

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast included. Comfortable rooms and bottom bunks have curtains for privacy! The pool was well maintained, property clean, and a nice kitchen. We were here for 6 nights and we would stay here again.

It's self check in and out, there was no one there to help you with anything. You have to make and unmake your own bed. The location is really far out of the city (25-30min walk), you can see the city limits sign right next to the hostel. The breakfast was tiny and there really weren't many options. For the price, there are so many better hostels in the center of Ponta Delgada. There's only one toilet per floor and 2-3 rooms on each floor. Lastly, there's air conditioning in the rooms but they took all the remotes away.

The roof terrace was nice, everything else left a lot to be desired.

Hostel is near the supermarket, beach, marina and city center of Ponta. There are many place for parking on the street. Accommodation is clear and safety. Bonus is pool on the roof and beautiful view to ocean.

Staff did not respond to my phone call or.text until about 24 hours later (may have been longer)I was only staying 2 nights. Also they do not provide much food even if you are there early for breakfast. Coffee was colored water no taste. My room was next to front door which is poorly designed making multiple banging sounds very loud with each entry or exit

Location right on the coast, I could see the ocean from my room. The hostel is kept very clean and overall it is a great place to have a rest after hiking, although it is a bit of a walk from the city centre. I would still come back to this hostel though.

First I booked the 4 person dorm. Because I would arrive late at night, I wanted to upgrade to a private room. I didn't want to disturb the other guests. It was really tedious when I tried upgrading the room. I felt they were teasing me. They wanted me to cancel and pay the full amount before I should pay again to have the other room. After two days of tedious contact I contacted booking.com, but by then the private room was already booked. When I arrived at 1 am, it was impossible to not wake up the other guests. The upper bed was not prepared and making the upper bed in the dark was impossible. At 5 am I was woken up by people from another room, because you could hear everything. It wasn't sound proof at all.

View on the roof terrace The best part is how the communal areas make it easy to meet other travellers.Very walkable are about 15 mins to city center.Soo I really loved staying here. If I come to Sao Miguel again, I will choose this hostel again. Thank you for everything .

Calm hostel, with all I needed, view to the sea in the terrace, walking distance to the centre and its swimming area, good for cooking, ground coffee, & was fortunate to have stayed with other lovely guests.

I like everything. First of all everywhere was soo cleann staffs are really good. Breakfast was really okay for me (bread ham and cheese jam butter, serials milk, muffin, coffee and tea). I also like self check in chance it was really easy and quick. I stayed with 8 people but I didn't feel it. The facility is really good. And in my room we have bathroom soo you don't need to go outside. In the kitchen you have everything such as owen, microwave, pans, toaster etc. Soo I really loved staying here. If I come to Sao Miguel again, I will choose this hostel again. Thank you for everything 👾👾

Maybe they could be curtains in the beds to have protection of the lights while sleeping. But the people was very respectful.

Very nice people managing, AWESOME BREAKFAST, confortable beds, clean bathrooms, nice ambient. Very recommendable!
