The location is great, good access to everything. We were able to park in the undergroung parking lot, just on the street for 20€ for 24h, with a voucher from the guest house. The room was good and also a shared kitchen (fridge etc) was available to use. Only negative aspect is the strong smell of the cleaning products they use in the room/guest house. Other than that the stay was good.

Unfortunately on Sunday there was no hot water about 7 am which was a major disturbance for me before the competition. Also it would be nice, if u can provide one night stand close to bed.

The room was spotlessly clean and stylish, and the bed was super comfortable. We received a warm in-person reception at check-in, along with great local recommendations. Convenient parking garage just across the street.

The toilet door squeaked loudly – it definitely needs to be fixed. Also, the shower head wasn’t staying in place.

The staff was great – friendly and smiling. They kindly allowed us to leave our things after checkout. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the bed was very comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like about the guesthouse or the area.

Joao was a great host; absolutely no problems - he even lent me his charger for my iPhone until I purchased one. The bed in the room was substantial and to my liking, but you may be disappointed if you prefer a bed with a little softness. There is construction going on in the area, but I didn't find it a distraction. There is underground parking across the street, but I found it easy to get turned around when coming up from it because various entry and exit points are getting to it, but the on-duty attendant is very kind and helpful. I would stay here again and probably should have just booked for the full week instead of just a couple of days.

All the buildings in Lisbon city center seem to be old. Even if the room was clean, one could feel a slight musty smell.

The place was clean and the room was big and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was close to the city center (walking distance) and there were many nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Also, public transportation was very close. It was a nice accomodation, I recommend it.

If we really need to say something it's that the furniture was quite basic. And that some of the recommendations we received were not up to date (e.g. the tram stop from which we were advised to take the historic tram was under construction...)

The hosts were welcoming and gave us some sightseeing recommendations. We liked the fact that the room was quite spacious. The location was ok to reach certain landmarks though the surroundings may not be the best looking. It's nice to have the kitchen and the fridge available and it's also a good thing there are plenty of restaurants, bars and some brunch places within 5-mins walking distance.

Noisy and you could hear a lot from the hallways. Doors were cheap and thin, and they didn’t think to insulate the rooms well from the other room/hallways noises. A bunch of people talking in the hallway or entering their room would sound very loudly in your room.

During our stay, there were road works outside and as said by other guests, Saturday night attracted many students on the street, which made a lot of noise. With the doors closed, not a problem. But if you prefer to keep a window open at night: ask for a room at the back of the guest house

Nice area, close to the river, surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants: a lot to choose from! In comparison with the bairros on the steep hills of Lisbon, this location is a relief ;-)
