Everything was perfect. Excelent location , clean and spacious room. It has breakfast (natural orange juice, cofee, cereals, bread, ham, scrambled eggs), yougurt and milk. WiFi is great, all the signal.

Great location between the 2 sets of pools in Porto Moniz. it’s a modest family run guest house & restaurant, but there is everything you need to be comfortable- a comfortable bed, a good shower, a private balcony with chairs, and a really good breakfast (excellent fresh orange juice).

The gentleman running the hotel was really kind and sweet, you can tell he really cares about the place. The location in the town was perfect, with great views of the mountain and ocean. the room was super clean and seemed newly renovated. For the value, the room really exceeded my expectations.

Although I booked a double room with a sea view the room had no window only a door leading onto a concrete area walled on all sides. The view of the sea was only a glimpse if you stood on tip toe at the far end of the walled area. Please note, the photos of the double room and sea view aren’t of the room offered. To get the sea view and balcony as shown on the photos you need to book the suite! We asked for an upgrade and the suite was available for two of the four nights we stayed. We were given this at no extra cost because the lady from Madeira Sun accepted that the room we had was not as advertised. We did however have two nights in a dark claustrophobic room with no window and no view.

The room was really nice and clean, with a view to the mountain. The breakfast is really tasty, with a lot of options and served by the nicest and most attentive persons :) Just a few steps away is the ocean and the natural pools so popular in Porto Muniz.

A fridge would have been useful, even a communal one in the lounge. Coffee making facilities too as snack bar below closes at 7pm.

We received an extremely small room that hardly allow ed to move around the bed, without any option to open the luggage, which wasn’t the room that had been ordered and payed for in advance!!! The owner kept repeating that the place was full and no rooms left… after one night we were moved to another slightly bigger room , with separated beds, and a cupboard with foul smell.

The location near the lava pools is wonderful, and there is a nice common room with a beautiful sieve to the sea and the lighthouse
