Guest rooms are in the monk’s cells and very small. Bathrooms and bedrooms are in need of an upgrade. The hallway carpets have seen their better days.

Location is perfect to tour Evora. The staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The lounge fireplace was a welcomed comfort at the end of the winter’s day. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered ample selection and setting was lovely.

Bathroom could have had some hooks for robes etc.

An interesting old building with beautiful dining area set in the cloister. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our bedroom, being a nun's "cell" was not as austere as it sounds! Hotel is well-located near the Classical ruins and the Cathedral.

Rooms were a little ackward. One room had stairs to go up into it and the ceilings were very low. Too many walls and corners. Some of the fixtures especially in the bathroom were older and hard to use

Great breakfast Very convenience location Nice old palace with fixtures and future from a the palace; I loved all the details Nice updates that offered comfort to us.

Great location next to the Roman temple. East to get around the old city. Breakfast was fabulous. The building is beautiful.

We were upgraded to a suit from a family room. We except the fact that the furnitures are old or old style but was really upset to have a carpet so dirty in the room, with many stains. It is a pousada and a suit..

Ground floor Bedroom windows overlooked a secure courtyard but were accessible from ground floor so we felt uncomfortable leaving them open at night. Rooms do have AC but we like to sleep with the windows open,

Showering facility was difficult to manage. Tea/coffee making facility would have been appreciated.

Room was quite basic. However, the building’s architecture is unique and the staff were very polite and helpful. The fact that there is a car park for guests is invaluable in such a busy city.

Our original room was on the second floor, and there was no elevator. Although the staff were happy to take our luggage upstairs, this would have been difficult for me to negotiate, as I have arthritis in one of my joints. We were reallocated a room on the ground floor, which worked well for us.

The pousada is at the centrepoint of Evora, near the Cathedral, the public square with a panoramic view of the city, and the main museum of Evora. The pousada is a former convent and a historical sight in its own right. It has been tastefully renovated with modern facilities (albeit not high-tech). The staff were extremely helpful, all with a good command of English and also knowledgeable about the city and its surrounds.

We found the room a bit warm for our liking, with the AC too noisy to keep on all night.

Location is unbeatable in Evora! The property is stunning, with very attentive and friendly staff. As it is in a 15th century building, rooms and amenities are comfortable as expected. Dinner was excellent, shout out to Pedro who was fantastic in recommending food and wine. Additional benefit is the private parking onsite, rare in the middle of an old town like Evora.

Parking was very hard to come by and very inconvenient. We ended up parking in a free lot about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Driving directions to the hotel would have been helpful as we got caught in the warren of tiny streets in the old town trying to find the hotel.

The location in the center of the historic district was excellent. The room was beautiful. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

The room was only adequate. The carpet was obviously stained in the entry of the room which was off putting. We were right outside the breakfast area which was noisy with a group. The air conditioner needed servicing and was noisy. The bed was hard too! I had expected more for the money spent.

Our room surprisingly had several issues. The entrance carpet was very soiled. The bathroom faucet was barely a trickle & really difficult to even wash your face or brush teeth. The handheld shower head cable had a big leak that sprayed everywhere.

Pousada is in a magnificent location, the building and grounds & gardens are beautiful. We loved the breakfast courtyard area & wide array of breakfast options. The staff were excellent and welcoming. The linens were crisp and comfortable.

You need more signage to the pool. The property feels a little "tired". Parking for larger cars should be more proactively discouraged - the carpark itself is very hard to use, and driving out through streets was challenging!

Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, general feel of property was great.

The carpet in the room was stained, the shower/bath taps - difficult to control the temperature of the water, only one bottle of water, shower curtain rail loose, third bed was an uncomfortable folding bed, room door lock did not work. Totally overpriced parking.

The location, interesting decoration and ornaments, reasonable breakfast, very friendly staff, swimming pool.
