Follow Hotel Sao Jorge ( not Hotel S Jorge) on Sat Nav. Hotel on main road so you can’t miss it. LIDL is next door, together with small shopping mall, Burger King next to LIDL. We had a small dog with us so didn’t walk too much further due to being on a main road, however as we drove out of the Hotel, there were plenty more restaurants and shops further along the main road within walking distance. We were met by the owner in the reception area who guided us to our chalet. The gardens are perfectly kept, lovely grassed areas with a large swimming pool ( smaller pool for children) and lots of sun loungers either in the gardens or on the patio area. Our dog was more than happy to lie in the shade with us. Parking directly outside the chalet with small table and chairs. Chalet was small but adequate, twin beds, basic furniture, wall mounted TV, large powerful shower, very basic toiletries (hand wash and shower gel), hairdryer, A/C. No mini fridge or tea/coffee facilities. Very good Wifi in all areas, small restaurant by the pool but only open 7am-10am for B/F ( we didn’t visit). We were surprised how nice this place was and would recommend for a stop over or couple of nights.

The coffee at breakfast and the lack of chocolate spread, but nothing unsurmountable!

The personnel was really friendly and helpful when we checked in. We could park our car at our bungalow, which was great for taking out our heavy luggage. The room was larger than we expected, clean, and everything we needed was there.

Everything - staff was super nice, the rooms (actually small cabins) are really nicely furnished and you can park your car right in front of the door, which makes it super convenient when you have lot of luggage. Everything was clean, pool was awesome. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

No fridge in suite. The communal arrangement needs sorting as insufficient space for patrons in 1 fridge for 55+ suites. Decoration needs updating.

Location is brilliant, close to places of interest within 30 minutes travel. Top restaurants on your doorstep. A small shopping centre next-door. The pool is gorgeous and a good size, and plenty of sun loungers. The rooms are a well equipped with furniture and storage.

So many flies everywhere. Reception couldn't say where they've come from but very uncomfortable. Shame because it's a nice place to stay and reasonable.

Convenient stopover on our way to Aveiro but on a very busy road. Have stayed before and enjoyed relaxing round the pool. Also has a tennis court. Small shopping arcade and Lidl 3 minutes walk away. Slept well, very quiet.

It would have been great if we had a bar fridge in the room, where we could keep water and cool drinks. There is a nice stoep with a table and chairs in all rooms and we couldn't enjoy a refreshing drink outside.

It was a very convenient location. The pool was a great offer, with the high summer temperatures we've been having. Breakfast was enough and at a very good price.
