The doors of the room had segments made of blurred glass, even though it was hard to see inside the room you could easily see if there were people inside, you could also hear all the sounds from the hostel hall as the door didn't block the sounds very well due to the thin glass. Overall this gave me a feeling of lack of privacy.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a room for me and my girlfriend, and as my parents were staying in the city they needed to drop their luggages temporarily in our room and use the bathroom, the staff were ok with that plus very understanding. The pictures of the room didn't look so inviting in the website, but once arriving in the hostel the building and our room was very charming with a beautiful view to the city center.

Historic builings need renovation and lots of maintenens also due to planning permission this hasnt happend and thats clear to see by all the facilities. Its really ashame! Tourism doesnt give back what it takes out of a place and the local people so I hope this builing returns to its purpose.

Its a beautiful historic building in the middle of the city centre. The owners are friendly and helpful although not local to be able give you information or advise. It has so much potential for residents or tourists who might stay here.

Location was beautiful, amazing view of the gardens. Shops nearby and was easy to get everywhere by walking or taxi. Very friendly owners and neighbours, family atmosphere. Lovely balcony room. Kitchen available for everyone's use and able to use all equipment. Clean bathrooms, clean lounge areas and clean towels. Making friends with new people from different countries.

I committed a mistake with the reservation data and when I tried to set it up properly nobody answered. I lost my money and didn't receive a msg of explaination or support from the hotel. They prefer to lose a customer than losing the cost of one day of accommodation. This says it all by itself.

The staff aren't that great at english and didn't seem to know I was arriving, but we soon managed to communicate.

Sasimi is is a stunning location and the staff go out of their way to help you. The facilities are perfectly adequate and I had a nice quiet time here doing some online work whilst visiting Braga.

there was no shower hanger, so you must keep holding the shower hose, what I personally don’t like.

The host was not very helpful and actually quite rute. The rooms were not particularly clean and the bathroom and toilet were extremely dirty including a broken window.

I was originally given a room that was on the back side of the building. It looked onto a overgrown mass of weeds and 1 tree. It also contained junk. It was a dark and gloomy room. I asked to be switch, and the gentleman working there obliged. I was given an ‘extra room’ that had only 1 light (it hung from the ceiling), a bed that had only 1 mattress and no towels.The room did over look the afore mentioned garden. I was charged the same amount as my friends who were in a nicer room next to me.

The building itself was charming with a circular staircase and old glass non see through doors to guest rooms. 2 rooms looked out onto the front where there is a beautifully manicured public garden & remains of several Romanesque arches. You can hear local church bells ring.
