Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very clean, really nice staff, I even got a free upgrade to a bigger room! :) It‘s only 30min from the airport by metro, and you can reach all major tourist attractions fairly quickly. There is also a supermarket next doors.

Unfortunately, the bedsheets were kind of sweaty and we had to keep the windows open so fresh air can flow otherwise it got very stiff. It would be great to have a place where one could put her own soap, shampoo and so on while showering, and not pout it on the ground. The breakfast was Ok but not amazing. On the second day there was nearly no eggs left which was the main thing we ate. The cucumbers and melons were bad. Even if they got a great coffee machine, the coffee they offered was quite disappointing.
The hotel is located next to a metro station that brings you to the city center in 10 minutes or you might walk for 20. This place was very charming and we got a spacious doom with huge terrace. It was very clean and the bathroom was quite big too. The reception staff was young and very friendly. We found a Happy birthday decorations and a cake in our room when we arrived but it wasn’t my birthday :) Still, I enjoyed the sweets and the effort with the decorations.

Rooms smaller than expected based on the pictures. Aggressive plain white light (warming daylight taint would be more delightful)
Nice personnel and fine taste decoration. The breakfast is comprehensive and offers essential food well cooked.

There was no standard hotel set with cotton pads and sticks etc, as well as no glass for toothbrush and shelf in the bathroom
Location, room itself and breakfast were fine. Staff was nice and helpful.

Everything was perfect! I am definately coming back!
Friendly staff, excellent service, beautiful hotel near the centre! The food in the restaurant was great and the breakfast was wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. I am definately choosing it for my next visit in Lisbon!

Some noise from outside especially from cars travelling on the paved road adjacent to the hotel but overall not too much of a bother.
The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is really good especially as it is right next to the metro station. We were also able to leave our bags for a few hours after the check-out and wander around the city a bit more before the return flight.

I would have appreciate more products available in the bathroom like a shower cap. No many places available to eat around the hotel.
2 mins by walk from the metro station. Very central area. Room and bathrooms clean and new. Staff friendly and nice. Good quality food for breakfast and dinner at the Up to Tapas restaurant.

Beds were firm, shower was clogged. Breakfast was good but limited.
The staff, Especially Rui Lima and the amazing Isa Belle, they made our stay perfect. Thank you both so much for your warm hospitality and charm, you will not be forgotten. Coffee was incredible!
